It's a long journey you've been on. Keep on going and never give up. Praying God will give you strength each day. For me, the thing that has stood out most about Dimash's music is its beauty. I climbed mountains, ran marathons. but then I smoked meth. That was hard to break, but I did. I'm still an alcoholic, but I wish to change. He is the best singer that you will ever hear.

Martin, your silence at the end of the song spoke volumes. So genuine. Dimash did that to me the first time I heard him, which was S.O.S. Crying is not a weakness, it's an emotion like any other. I am in my 70's and have had struggles of my own. I didn't think I was strong at all, till other people pointed out what I'd achieved! Years ago, when I couldn't feel anything at all, just numb, it was music that brought me back from the brink. One piece of music in particular. Dimash has such an affect on me now! I have anxiety and in 2016 I was prescribed benzodiazepines, well those are pretty strong and I have found that if I wait too long in between my dose’s, I feel pretty bad, from my research, they are highly addictive and dangerous to just stop. I commend you, people who have never tried to stop a habit that they have started may not understand, but everyone who can’t function without their morning coffee, is in the same place, whether or not they know it, especially when the horrible headache hits, that’s our bodies way of acting up because it wants caffeine. Many people don’t realize it, my son pointed it out to me and I was stunned, to be completely honest. Just so you know, Dimash is an Ambassador of Peace, he brings so many of us peace and we are part of a huge worldwide family. Whether it's a health difficulty, or emotional, or other types of struggles there are so, so, SO many stories of Dears finding relief and healing in his songs. I think it's more than just the notes with Dimash, it's the entire way in which he presents it that has such a profound affect on so many people all over the world. For me, I was in survival mode when I found Dimash and I didn't realize how much I needed his music and his existence in my life. I cannot go a day without his music; he doesn't just calm and regulate my emotions but he also helps me to process emotions that I don't know how to properly manage or express. I can listen to the same songs from Dimash over and over and it will affect me differently depending on my need in that moment. Dear Martin. I have now seen 3 reactions from you on Dimash and have learned a little about you through them. First of all, I congratulate you on trying to get sober or clean and that you have held out for so long in this difficult battle. I don't know why you tried to numb yourself and thereby harm your body. You have a pleasant face and seem to be physically healthy and you are still relatively young compared to me. I was born into a family with many siblings in the former German Democratic Republic. I experienced loss at a very early age. My twin brother died in the womb and I have always been a fighter. I lost 2 sisters a few days after they were born. My father was a monster, he was not good to us or our mother. My mother could not cope with the loss of her babies and started drinking alcohol. I only knew my mother when she was drunk. I had to take over my mother's household duties at an early age because she was not able to do it and As a child, it was difficult to wash the clothes of 7 people by myself without a washing machine, as I didn't have the strength to do it. When I started school, the doctors discovered that I had a progressive muscle and nerve disease that could not be treated or cured. I had suffered several broken bones and a head injury as a result. Despite this, I always fought. I learned a profession that I enjoyed. I gave birth to a boy and married him. Music was always my passion and so I sang in a choir. Unfortunately, my illness progressed so that I could no longer walk. The motor skills in my hands are limited. I had a sleep attack at the age of 44 and as a result of my illness I suffered a nerve paralysis in my diaphragm and part of my lung collapsed, so that I can no longer sing or speak much. The man I was married to left me because he expected more from life than a sick woman. For most of my life I raised my son alone and am proud that he gone and works in a hospital. Unfortunately, I have been living in a nursing home here in Germany for 5 years because I need help. Everyday life here is difficult. It is not easy to need help. There are many old people here who have dementia, you see a lot of misery. But there are also people here who are not yet 70 years old and have destroyed their bodies and minds through alcohol and drugs. I know from my mum what alcohol can do. She overexploited her own body and died much too young. I do not judge anyone who numbs themselves with drugs or alcohol. I tried to help my mum, but unfortunately she did not allow it. I am now 66 years old and no matter what damage life does to you, try to fight and enjoy the little things. Learn to appreciate that you are still healthy. I have not seen anything of the world and have not experienced anything great. I have not done so many things that other people take for granted. I have never been to a concert in my life. It There's You Tube and through it I got to know a lot of beautiful voices. Music has always given me strength and a few years ago I discovered Dimash. When I hear his voice, I cry with happiness that I can experience this, even if only on RU-vid. When Dimash sings, I forget my physical and mental pain. Of course I had wishes and dreams too, but if your health doesn't cooperate, you are also limited financially. You can't have everything. I would also like to be at a Dimash concert, it's my biggest dream, even though I know it won't happen. Don't destroy your body with drugs or alcohol, life has a lot to offer, even if you don't have a lot of money. You're only harming yourself. You're destroying your body and it costs a lot of money and it's not worth it. I enjoy hearing the sound of the sea, hearing leaves rustling in the wind or birds singing or feeling a beautiful summer rain on my skin. Life is too precious and sometimes too short.
