Hola!!!Dimash hizo que gente de todo el mundo escuche canciones tradicionales tan bellas de su país,el es sin duda el gran embajador de Kazajistán.Saludos para ti y todos los Dears desde Argentina!!!🤗❤🇦🇷
Great beautiful reaction! This song and performance is my all time favorite - so intimate and strong with all Kazakh energy in it.... So beautiful and somehow even stronger and more private and touching when Dimash sings in his native language... Love it, love him. Thank you, Dear!
Спасибо! С вами вместе очень хорошо слушать песни Димаша. Эта старая народная песня прозвучала так современно и своевременно... Слушая её, ещё больше хочется мира на Земле.
This performance was during the quarantine from the Dimash’s home studio. Dimash loves traditional music and incorporates Kazakh instruments in many songs ❤️🔝🎤 The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 Kobyz is an ancient tool of the peoples who lived in the East, including nomads. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. The open body and strings of the kobyz from a bunch of 30-60 untwisted horse hair give a very thick, overtone-rich timbre. The flute called Sybyzgy - made of reeds or wood 50-70 cm with 3-5 holes, which is particularly common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The instrument was particularly popular with shepherds, although difficult to play, and was also used by storytellers. These storytellers, called Akyn in Kyrgyzstan, are a central element of Central Asian culture. They went across the country and told stories and legends in chants and with music, for example with a Sybyzgy. It follows the link where you can read in English the true story behind the song ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GVcs7wkfyC4.html ❤️🎤🌹🌹👏👏👏
Thank you, it was recorded in Dimash's studio, you're right Dimash gives you shivers with his voice and that's how a singer or musician is supposed to affect, whether it's vocals or instrumental music, thanks again and stay healthy.
This is to me one of Dimash most moving song and the way he delivers it is particularly powerful, in this refined context. If you love this song, you should react to his music video Qairan Elim: this is heartbreaking and sublime...
One of the MANY values of Dimash that I love is that he will NOT sing a "commercial" song or any song for fame or popularity. He will ONLY sing a song that he has a personal connection to, that has some rich meaning for him. He does fun stuff, such as really cool numbers, and OPERA 2 was just a fun way to show off in a really good way his vocal prowess, but the vast majority of his songs are deeply meaningful to DQ. He is a person who is very soul centered.
Dimash sings this song in Kazakh. This song is over 100 years old. The song is about the events of 1916. First World War, mobilization. ... The sound of wind and blizzards, the howl of a wolf and the barking of dogs. Cries of flying cranes. Folk viscous crying motif. The murmur of water... Sounds of kyl-kobyz and sybyzgy. And a strong young voice, singing with longing for his native land. The rhythm is like a soldier's step... The soldiers go farther and farther away from their native steppes and mountains. Something is ringing and rattling, could it be a weapon? And like the cry of the whole people, the cry of mothers, seeing off their sons to the war. The sound of a stream, a mountain breeze and memories of his native land are all that a soldier has left. Uncertainty and fear lie ahead. Fear is not for yourself, for your parents, your loved ones. This is what you can imagine while listening to the Kazakh song Samal Tau.
Thanks! Love your vibe and channel friend! Also ♥️ Dimash, so THX’s fire reaction! This performance is most musician’s favorite, and totally get why! ✌️♥️
Dimash says this is a difficult song for him - not technically, but emotionally. It refers to the hardships endured by the Kazakh people when their young men were conscripted into the Russian Tsar’s army, and probably never to see their homeland again ..
Dimash's Kazakh songs are another whole world altogether.. he transports us into the beloved land of his birth and into its history and culture, it is stunning! In this piece you feel the antiquity of the land of Kazakhstan, and echoes of ancient music from all over the world..I hear Celtic, Red Indian, Spanish traditional, perhaps these all have common roots. I recommend in similar vein Qairan Elim start with the original MV, there are other versions. And brace yourself! Greetings from Cape Town South Africa. Love your serious heartfelt reactions.
Hola!
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏼👏🏾👏🏾👏🏽👏🏻👏🏻🎶🎶♥️♥️🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hi! This is one of the most beautiful songs about the sadness and the madness of war, and Dimash make us feel it!! Nice reaction. Regards to you from Argentina....
This was a very enjoyable reaction. Dimash was invited to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival on the 24th of May, on his 26th Birthday, and he was very disappointed when it was canceled. However, it was reinstated as an online festival, and he took part from his music room/studio in his house in Astana, Kazakhstan. The back story is important in interpreting this experience. This song is based on the writings of a young Kazakh who lived with his parents and family in the mountainous area of Kazakhstan when he was forced into the Tsar's army to fight in WWI. He had never been out of his own little part of Kazakhstan. The sounds of those ancient instruments represented the sounds of nature that he loved so much -- the wind, the howling wolves, etc. He's being forced to go fight in a war he does not understand for a Tsar to which he feels no allegiance. He misses his homeland and family as he marches to war, and he's wondering if he will survive the battles and be able to return to the homeland he loves so much. If you are interested in learning more about what the song is about, here is additional information: www.iias.asia/the-newsletter/article/time-ordeal-story-1916-revolt-central-asia As you already know, Dimash is from Kazakhstan, but more specifically, he is a native Kazakh. Kazakhs are separate indigenous people from regular Kazakhstanis. They are the original Nomad tribes from the steppes; some still live as nomadic people. Dimash is a direct descendant and lives traditionally with his extended family and they keep all the cultural traditions. It is custom that the firstborn son of a family is given to a set of grandparents to raise for at least 10 years. Dimash was entrusted to his paternal grandparents, and they raised him to be highly confident in himself. They raised him to believe that God had a great plan for him, and he should pursue it and dedicate himself to that plan with his entire being. The kobyz, played here by Olzhas Qurmanbeck, is a 5,000-year-old, traditional, sacred instrument in Kazakhstan. The kobyz or Kyl kobyz is the most ancient bowed instrument on earth, widespread among the Turks, Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Bashkirs, and Tatars. It became the basis for most of today's bowed instruments worldwide, including European instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and contrabass. The Kyrgyz variant is called Kyl kayak. The instrument is carved from a single piece of wood (typically apricot), juniper (arsha), maple, pine tree, or birch. The instrument consists of three parts: head (base), middle (base is keude), and lower part (ayak) and usually measures 60-70 cm. The resonant cavity is usually covered with goatskin, reproducing a sound representing the animals of the steppe. It has two strings made from horsetail hair, one to provide melody and the other resonance. Someone explained that one string is made with 75 horse hairs and the other with 60 horsehairs. The strings are not pushed down to a fret but are played with pressure applied by either the fingernail or the pad on the finger, and the tones are varied by the pressure of the bow. The bow is shaped like an archer's bow, and its string, made with 40 horse hairs, is tied to both ends of the bent branch and affixed with strong threads of camel wool. The other instrument is a Kazakh side-blown flute called a Sybyzgy, traditionally played by shepherds and horse herders. It is made from apricot wood or the wood of mountain bushes and makes the sound of birds. The rainstick is a long, hollow tube partially filled with small pebbles or beans with small pins or thorns arranged helically on its inside surface. When the stick is upended, the pebbles fall to the other end of the tube, bouncing off the internal protrusions to create a sound reminiscent of falling rain. Here it is used to imitate the sound of the wind blowing the grasses of the Steppe. The instruments on the wall are various styles of Dombra plus a Jetigen, a 7 stringed Zither, and a drum.
I can`t believe you haven`t reacted to his vocalize performance of Know (Ascolta La Voce) from his Arnau tour. No lyrics, just a man and his voice, and I must say, that band is absolutely worthy of playing with Dimash. 💥
@@2genreactions please do react to the New Wave 2019 Know (ascolta la voce) version from Sochi, first. You'll hear the whole song with the vocalise and then the vocalise part as the whole song.
When DIMASH sings in his native language. It’s the best treat. This is one of my favorite songs from him. Like you, I got goosebumps all over my body. His voice breaks my soul. Thank you for the great reaction. Greetings from VIETNAM 🇻🇳.
Es una cansion maravillosa y muy spesial para Dimach si quieres aga reaction a Sinful Passion, o de unos de últimos cansiones ZHALIN o Omir Oter como siempre te vas a sorprender saludo dezde España
In the intro , the kobyz takes us to The a Great Steppes of Kazhkstan. We hear the wolf answered by the village dog, hear the night wind and the night birds' calls as the stream trickles nearby. For the whole feel with a fantastic backdrop, find this song performed in 2019 at the Chinese Spring Festival / Silk Road. It's amazing. Enjoy! 💞💞
There are not only ancient tools here. The song itself is from 1916. The time of the First World War. The Russian Empire needed additional strength, soldiers. Therefore, on June 25, a decree was issued on the mobilization of the foreign male population aged 19 to 43 years for defense and logistics work. This piece of music shows the tragedy of not one person, but an entire nation. A total of 123 thousand people were mobilized by tsarist Russia before the February revolution of 1917. Samal Tau is the name of a locality in the North Kazakhstan region. From the Kazakh language, "samal" can be translated as "breeze, mountain breeze, coolness", "tau" - mountain, elevation.
This is my favorite song by Dimash. The story behind it touches me very deeply. Please check his fantastic performance from The Silk Road Film Festival with the back story.
