Great reaction! Thank you so much for reacting to this song. The version in his New York concert is amazing, Dimash radiates joy and happiness ... All the best.
There are several renditions of this song but you might like to check two out, even if it’s when you are on your own. One is when he sings with his sister. Raushan is very shy, but she sang this with Dimash. Their parents are watching in the audience. The other is from the Barclay centre, New York. It’s very funny.
Eric Carmen borrowed this melody from the russian composer Sergey Rakhmaninov (1900- 1901). And that's why this song has two composers - Rakhmaninov and Carmen.
This young man works so hard. Do you notice how thin he was here. This was his first huge solo concert after his big success and gained world wide recognition from competing in the Chinese vocal comp I AM SINGER 2017......he worked so hard to put this MASSIVE Show together that he lost a ton of weight, for which his parents were quite concerned.
At this concert one is struck by his incredible stage presence in front of a huge audience, a lonely, vulnerable figure, but at the same time with such charisma! Its extremely poignant just to watch him on the stage at Bastau..meaning Beginnings. Hard to believe this was his first solo concert, it went on for hours! My favourite song might be Give Me Love from this concert..
This was a wonderful performance, but his 2017 performance of this song for the I AM SINGER 2017 vocal competition was FIRE!!!!! OH and he was JUST LEARNING English in 2017 :) :)
This is NOT a Celine Dion cover simply because this is not a Celine Dion song. Only an original could be covered. You cannot cover a cover. Her version of this song is also a cover as well. The song was composed and recorded by Eric Carmen in 1975 and became a #2 hit for him at that time. I feel it is extremely important to give credit where credit is due and to not credit someone with a song that isn't theirs.
Eric Carmen borrowed this melody from russian composer Sergey Rakhmaninov ( was written in 1900-1901). That's why this song has two composers - Rakhmaninov and Carmen.
