Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! Sorry, Marcelito and Dimash are totally different. Not saying Marcelito is not talented but he doesn't even come close to the vocal abilities of Dimash. Marcelito does good impressions of singers and mimics voices - Dimash makes every song his own , whether its a cover or something written for him. He has no style yet is all styles. So this song was his selection at a talent show which gained him his spotlight immediately(didnt really need it but it helped bring him to attention sooner, especially YT)...so look for the original, completely untouched, look for his breakout amateur clips......however if you watch the amateur clips he knows that he is going to win the show..at which point he withdraws himself from the competition as he knows his vocal training and level of skill completely outmatches his fellow artists
So i did a little more research..actually it was The World's Best i think it was called which he withdrew from that competition, he went forward winning his got talent competition.
