Данная реакция интересна тем, что уважаемый Cato Tønnessen просто реагирует на музыку, не опираясь на текст песни. А ведь в русском языке на первом месте стоят слова, текст, а музыка вторична... И от смысла текста, от сопереживания эмоциям мы и отталкиваемся в своем восприятии песни. И тут сложилось воедино - и прекрасная музыка Игоря Крутого, и пронзительные слова Михаила Гуцериева и божественное пение Димаша Кудайбергена.... В результате этого тандема - шедевр, который хочется слушать снова, и снова, и снова... Обидно, что уважаемый Cato Tønnessen уделил все внимание музыкальной составляющей, а эмоции от пронзительных стихов остались "за кадром". Поэтому, хочу взять на себя смелость и предложить перевод этой песни на английский язык - ведь от того, ЧТО именно поется, в КАКОМ виде подается и слагается нашеа ОЦЕНКА этого шедевра!!! I missed you Cato. Love this song with Dimash. It's breathtakeing he did this song in his London concert. The man at the piano is the composer of it and he made it for Lara Fabian. Loved his concert in London and he sang 29 songs for almost 3 hours it was memory for life. He is doing a new concert in spring in Moskow.

And we should perhaps note that Dimash performed this love song in the Conference Palace of the Moscow Kremlin before an audience of officers of the Russian Interior Ministry (the scariest of the ministries). As it happens, I have once, ages ago, attended an international conference in the same hall listening to utter boredom a three-hour speech by the Secretary General of the Soviet Communist Party, Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev.

This performance was inside the Kremlin. I think it was a commemoration for policemen, hence the rather military look of the clothing and the formality of the reaction. But a truly wonderful performance, nonetheless. Perfect as far as I could tell. :)

Cato, so glad you are back. You were missed. After his Sochi performance, Dimash was invited to perform at a concert at the Kremlin. Dimash collaborated with the world renown composer Maestro Igor Krutoy. They decided on this song which Igor had written. You will see Igor at the Piano next to Dimash beaming like he is showing off a protégée. I hear that the song is either nominated for or is Russia's Song of the Year. Dimash is Muslim so I do not know if he knows any Christmas songs although I see not reason that he would not sing one. But then, I do not know much about his religion.

Hi Cato, Awesome reaction as always bud, one vocal coach reacting on here said there were so many reasons that no one should be able to sing like that, highs to lows, major to minor all with such power! A full video of the London concert was put up on here today Cato by " Krafty T Dears" its only fancam, but from good position and its very good quality actually, I am assuming there will be an official DVD eventually. The nearest Christmassy thing ive seen him do is a vid on here "Hunan TV Spring Festival - Flight of the bumble bee" Dimash sings the "Flight" with two superb pianists then sings "Auld lang syne". Ps. the spring festival was the Chinese new year!!👌👌👌😊

Hi Cato-Dimash is Muslim, so I don't think he sings any Christmas songs, as he would be singing to another God besides Muhammed which to him would be idolatry. So sorry to disappoint. Update, Dimash is going back to Russia in Jan. to record a video for Love of Tired Swans. Yea! He also mentioned it will be in March when his Russian Concert is and he sounds really, really excited about it. He will be working with Igor so can you just imagine how amazing it will be?

Cato, I replied to you two months ago. I may now let you know an additional piece of information that this very song "The Love of the Weary Swans" was declared the "Song of the Year 2018" in January 2019. Dimash, of course, was in Moscow to sing it again. The song, its performer Dimash, and its composer Igor Krutoy (behind the piano) deserve all the honour.

I wouldn't count on him singing a Christmas song, If you've noticed his songs don't reflect any religion. He wants to unite the world with music the common tie with everyone .

I am not sure if he sings any Christmas songs due to his belief. He is a Muslim by heart.

Kazakhs are Muslims and don't celebrate Christmas. So, I don't know if he'll be familiar with Christmas songs. But just maybe Dimash could fulfill your wish. Some Muslims don't mind singing Christian songs.
