I keep coming back to watch this amazing performance. My mind is blown each time. Extremely gifted artist - I cannot believe he didn't place first in this competition. I'm sure his fans will always hold him in the first place position, no matter the injustice. I would love for him to put out a CD/DVD of these performances.

I always thought it was very logical that he sang it the way he did since it's a contest, but I always wished he'd sing it without loosing the feel of the original, only adding to it with his voice and technique. Now that I see he seemed conflicted about the arrangement loosing the feeling of the original song it makes me like him even more. I really wish to hear him sing many songs without the whole showcasing, blowing-your-mind with my skill kind of thing, but just sing for the art of it. I really like his voice.

I finally got to see your video. I will give you my opinion of Frenchwoman who adoooore this song and who knows a little bit its history. I really liked your video. Sincerly. I just found two details a little bit pity. The first one is that the person you hear singing is not Daniel Balavoine, the original singer. But the fact of having talked about Balavoine and Berger through the musical Starmania was really cool ! For each of your videos you do such an amazing research job ! Another detail that could have brought a big plus to your video would have been to talk about Gregory Lemarchal. I don't know if you've heard about him, or if you people abroad know his history. He was a young man who participated in a very famous singing show in France (Star Academy). He was in fact suffering from a severe incurable disease (cystic fibrosis) and had been fighting the disease for years. We learned he was sick in the middle of the show. He had kept the secret at first. One of his main songs during the show was "Sos d'un Terrien en Détresse". This performance was a shock for French people at the time because it's a song that speaks about life, death, pain and suffering ... And being a very hard song to sing, it was a real feat physics for Gregory to sing it knowing the breathing problems he had ... You did not lie, his performance really left everyone speechless. The presenter (who is very used to watching artists) said he rarely had such an emotion. Has anyone observed the similarities in the composer and Dimashs' last names ( root word- berger, it's part of in each of the names- berger means shepherd, and each of them carried the HEART ❤ OF A Shepherd ? Maybe it's serendipitous, but I am inclined to believe these two along with Daniel B. and Gregory M. Are all connected and each started this divine journey to demonstrate the beauty and meaning of a supernatural ❤message of the righteous balance of the super- natural (spiritual) and natural, the good, sad, unexpected unhappiness and learn to tearfully and unwantingly, broken-heartedly see the far-reaching effects of how many lives it will touché.
