Dimash taught himself how to play the drums. He says he is not very good at playing. I disagree with him. He is such an amazing young man. I love him dearly and I am a mom of two grown daughters and two grown sons and four grandchildren in their 20's and the 2nd grandson turns 11 on the 30th. Hi Bud, Great reaction, yeah other reactors have thought it was going to be "Thriller" too. As others have told you Laure was a contestant on Singer 2 or 3 series before Dimash shes a great singer and is one of the directors at BG talent who signed Dimash during this competition so she was in fact one his bosses, this was duet week for all the competitors and she offered to be his partner. Btw whilst she wasn't his sister, the man in suit and tie and the lady in floral dress right at the front are Dimash's mum and dad !! 👍👍👍😊😊

Laure Shang is a former contestant on the Singer, and was a winner of the Super Girl competition. She was a judge and mentor of Hua Chenyu when he won the Super Boy competition. She also works for the same Chinese entertainment company that Dimash signed with, so she was sort of Dimash's boss at the time.

And you are right: he can sing any style, tough this is virtually impossible.

I agree with your comments on Dimash strengthening other fields of music, and as far as MJ is concerned Give Me Your Love a tribute to him performed in Arnau and Moscow in 2019, is a step in the right direction in both presentation, dance and song performance. However I think there will be limits as to how much this magnificent entertainer will be able to 'rough' up his voice enough to satisfy a certain part of the audience

I think it has subtitles but turn on your captions just in case. The man & woman in the front row at the beginning & end & after he gets up from playing the drums is his father & mother. That was the 3rd instrument played during Singer out of the 7 he can play.

Lol ok, so here is where my British ways come in and I apologise, :p I'm so sorry she isn't his sister her name is Shang Wenjie, aka Laure Shang, She is the champion of the third season of the Chinese singing contest Super Girl. She has an amazing voice you should check her out as well as Hua Chenyu and JJ Lin. JJ Lin has amazing vocals, Not Dimash amazing but still amazing and Hua Chenyu is well Hua Chenyu. I loved this performance, English aside I loved the medley, it may not be perfect but that wasn't the point and I'm a huge MJJ fan too have been since I was 3. And I loved your reaction especially when Dimash started drumming. Made my day. Fridays are the best days! I am definitely a fan of yours
