Hola Montse! Gracias por tu excelente análisis y reacción. En la Opera china no le permitían cantar a las mujeres por eso algunos hombres, como Li Yugang, entrenaban para lograr esas voces de soprano y reemplazarlas. Te has dado cuenta de que la voz de Dimash combina a la perfección con cualquier otro cantante? Su poder de adaptación es increíble y siempre logra una presentación de excelencia. Li Yugang: La antigua tradición china impedía que las mujeres actuaran para los hombres en la Antigua Ópera de Pekín. De esta tradición surgió un estilo llamado "Nan Dan" en el que el hombre desempeña un papel femenino en la Ópera de Beijing. Una que fue una restricción, hoy convertida en cultura y el máximo exponente de esta cultura en China es el cantante e intérprete Li Yugang: quien creó su propia obra teatral (que tuvo una gira mundial en 2015), además de sacar varios CDs ( éxito de ventas) ganó 4 premios Denny en Beijing.

Thank you! This is one of my favorite duets of all time. So unique and wonderful to hear. Dimash is singing the part of the Emperor and Li is singing the part of the concubine. She is brought before him for treason and she reminds him of the wonderful time they had together when drunk. He says that he wishes that they could have one more time like that before she is sentenced (to death) for treason. Amazing vocals on both parts and great to hear them work in Diva Dance too. Li Yugang is famous in the Peking opera singing the parts of females as is tradition in China.

Love this performance!!! Drunken Concubine in dialogue the tragic story between a famous concubine of the Chinese imperial court, Li Yugang in that role, and the emperor, Dimash’s rol that’s why the throne at stage. At the end of the story the concubine is poisoned as a result of court intrigues. Li Yugang is a famous artist considered China’s National Treasure and he is a nan dan singer (male playing female roles) art forms from Peking Opera, giving the traditional art a modern edge. The way he moves (knees bent together and those "meows" have a special meaning in the traditional opera). What is most amazing about Li is that he couldn’t study in the university or conservatory of music, he is absolutely autodidact which is so admirable!! 👌👍💥 ❤🎤🔝 One of the things a I love the most of Dimash is his versatility and his ability to show us different cultures through the music. In this case with Li Yugang, they have made a perfect match with the traditional Peking Opera style, beautiful 🌟

Ya sabes que en la antigüedad las mujeres no podían participar en ciertos eventos, los hombres hacían el papel de mujer en las obras operísticas. Recordarás la ópera “ADIÓS A MI CONCUBINA” historia de un emperador Chino y su concubina que debía morir por cuestiones culturales chinas. La historia la podrás ver en internet. Esta versión es una mezcla.este chico es un afamado cantante de ópera en China.

Montse en el primer video que vi de ti comentarte que no sabías mucho de Dimash te diré que el video de La historia de un cielo tardo 3 años y costó 7 millones de dólares la saco en el año 2023 a principios de ese año y en Diciembre Smokke no se si lo habré escrito bien para mi es el mejor y tengo 71 años pero no me pierdo nada de lo que saca en conciertos o vídeos para mi es único besos
