You are very good at explaining your thought process and gameplay, just the right amount of detail. And you are not annoying or arrogant which is rare for an mtg youtuber, I really appreciate it. Seriously
You have very quickly become one of my favorite mtg creators. Just got back into mtg (modern mostly) after a 2 year hiatus and have built variations of two of your decks already and have been having a blast. Thanks for the content!
Echoing what others have said in the comments. You have a real knack for describing your thought patterns and explaining the game state. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos.
in the match vs boros: you could have left the spell pierce on top, since you knew the ragavan would connect. so opp would exile the spell pierce (dead card) and you would draw the push for your self :-)
33:50 after you flashback the deep analysis, u could play the frog, attack with ther Murk, discard the 3 cards in your hand and activate the second ability of the frog twice, making your Murktide a letal 13/13! :)
Honestly my answer is pretty disappointing to most people who ask, but I like Modern Horizons sets. They always gotta ban something but like every interactive spell we play in this format hold for a small few are MH cards. But threats are being pushed harder and harder in every set. TBH I did love when we could play cards like Bob, Electrolyze, and Cryptic Command, but that had to end eventually and I'm glad we have powerful answers to some of the messed up stuff printed in the last 5-6 years
@@neonmushroom6763 I can definitely see your point of view and respect the interaction perspective. I guess I’m just getting frustrated with the new pseudo-rotation that the direct to modern sets have introduced. Even though the buy-in price of modern is expensive, the prolonged deck viability allowed for me to justify it. If they’re going to keep this up with modern horizons, LOTR, and other direct to modern sets I honestly will likely have to tap out of the format. Thank you again for the reply!
@@bradleymiller4490 Meta has change a lot but many many cards are still staple from before decks and you mostly can easily convert some older decks into new ones without starting completely from scratch.
