yeah, i saw your comment in the first sets and i didnt really see it but in the 4th set Dima even points it out mutltiple times and the refs do nothing at all! As if a player of Dima's caliber would lie in such a situation. He's one of the most honest and fair players out there in my opinion.
well he does utilize shovel serve , half of the Chinese team is serving this serve . Even Ma Long is doing a lot of his serves putting his body in front as the ball is landing to disguise the spin he is putting on the ball. I agree that it borderlines the rules but used in National tournaments a lot in US. and a lot in international competitions as well. No shames given.. I agree that a new more enforceable rules for serving should be established instead of coming up with the most ridiculous changes possible. Till then many players will serve this way , it s inevitable. IF the next guy can do it the other players will do it.
@@rakishman1313 Ma Long would never dare to cheat like this once an opponent complaints. Gunduz is doing it ten times in a row, very poor sportsmanship.
@@lemsrache8377 Ma Long has lost points on similar serves. The ref should have given a warning and take a point. The response should be universal and punishment should be applied in each and every game. You can't punish some and not punish some. As a player I come across with this a lot. If it can't be enforceable change the rules. It s the refs responsibility to enforce the rules
Ovtcharov was very concistent. A lot of power and accuracy. Gunduz seems like he wants to imitate Timo Boll. Like another Turkish player (I don't remember his name) who wants to imitate Ma Long.
