This video is so telling. Look at all the players being buddy buddy. You can see the Americans are off in their own section chatting amongst themselves. Goffin, Cilic, Thiem, Rafa seem a bit more reserved; a bit of language barrier, those without perfect English are either cut from the video or only given few words, in any case they seem more formal. Everyone is laughing when they cut in near 1:09 so some funny joke must have been made on that side. Great getting a look at the dynamics between players. Details like this are exactly why we need the Laver Cup. Imagine how awesome it would be to see players form new bonds and grow skills together.

Nah, trust me, there's no language barrier whatsoever here. These players have been living an international life since they were very young, dude! If there's anything holding them back from interacting with each others, it's certainly not language. Even Rafa, his English might be pretty bad for formal interviews standard, but for casual, everyday conversations, it's pretty OK.

This is what I think Feds schedule for next year should be: Hopman Cup Australian Open Dubai Indian Wells Miami Monte Carlo Rome French Open Halle Wimbledon Toronto Cincinnati US Open Laver Cup Shanghai Paris World Tour Finals I think he should play Monte Carlo and Rome because he hasn’t won either event.

Nadal should've won the comeback of the year, i mean in 2015 and 2016 he barely won two matches in a row and now finishes the year at number 1 and all that at the age of 31. That's pretty amazing considering most people expected he'd be long gone of the tour at this point.

Kashone, see your point. But Rafa has been off many times in his career. This is a first for Fed. He was the one anyone least expected to make a dent, let alone win multiple trophies and beat his nemesis at a best-of-five slams match (that is not Wimbledon). All at the (over) ripe (old) age of 36...He sure deserved to be the winner.

While I am a huge Federer fan and I respect the other members of the Big 4 as well, I would actually be happy to see neither Federer or Rafa win this event. We need a fresh face now. How many of you agree?
