I think that adding a LSD would bring the F22s handling very close the the F87s.

Not quite. I drove both and man the f87 is stiffer. The wider stance helps too.

Thanks for the video! i actually just installed Dinan springs on mine. off topic question, have you ever have any issues going from 1 to 2nd doing high revs in your 6mt?

Thanks! I hope I’ve earned you as a subscriber. To answer your question yes and no. If I shift it too fast, and I mean as fast as I can it will grind the syncro and make a noise you can feel through the shifter. But if I take juuust a little off of it, it shifts no problem.

I went to KW clubsport a year after the Dinan springs and bumpstops. The Dinan sway bars I had overshadowed the spring upgrade set. For whatever reason, the kw clubsport rides better than stock shocks with Dinan springs. Note: I am running 255 square currently.

@@LowBoostFilms NT03RR 18x9 ET45 17.5mm spacer up front to clear the coilover spring perch and to help with fitting hankook rs4 as they are wider than even RE71R. Can use a 12.5mm spacer if I get a shorter main spring.

I'm considering going with Dinan Springs right now. From your video it looks like the rear is lower than the front, I can't tell if it's just the angle. Can you confirm? It's kind of a dealbreaker for me because im not a fan of that look, may end up going with coilovers or H&r's if that's the case.

Thanks for the video. I'm considering putting the Dinan springs on my M240i. Question for ya - how would you say it feels (as far as comfort) for the 99.5% of the time you aren't on a track? Livable? One of the reasons I didn't go for a M2C (OK and the price) was that it seemed like the ride would be too harsh to deal with every day.

Depends on where you live. If you have a ton of potholes everywhere it’s a bad idea. But even in upstate NY it’s fine. My wife doesn’t complain, that’s a good gauge lol.

Ride will be similar to stock just a tiny bit stiffer. Sway bar upgrade will 100% hurt your ride comfort.

If you use dinan springs with bilsteins would you still need the dinan bump stops since believe bilstein has built in bump stops?

Of you get bilstein, use their bump stops, I went Dinan because I didn’t want a crazy drop, I wanted stiffer springs,

I have a 435 with 70k miles so I need to replace the shocks and struts. Do you know of the bilstein B4’s would work with the springs + bump stops. I believe the B4’s are suppose to be basically a stock replacement, but on FCP euro in the description it talks about how the B4’s “have a larger piston area”. I basically just want shocks and struts to pair with the springs + bump stops. -Matt!

I don’t remember sorry. I know I wanted slotted not drilled. Less issues with brake dust. I think I got them on FCP euro or ECS

Go with EBC drill/slotted as the their yellowstuff is the best pad for F22 in terms of mixed driving, so why not use their pads too.

Would be the same as these. They lower the car just not as much as the H and R springs which are too low. Would be great on a 230i

Stiffer not smoother. Always a sacrifice in handling for stiffness. It’s better in comfort mode though because if the adjustable dampening.

Do you want to look nice and be functional and perform well? Get the dinan. Or you want to be a stance boy and have it really low? Get the others.

Dinan springs. Neither if you are actually seeking performance. Get sway bars if you don't coilover.

@@seollenda You options are getting Bilstein Damptronic B6 or B8 shocks with Dinan springs or get coilover. Bilstein Damptronic and some Bilstein and KW coilovers keeps the electric damping settings. I personally went with normal coilover (KW clupsport and coded EDC off) because I keep it in sport mode when I drive anyways, so no point having more than one mode.

I don’t have the info anymore. I sold the car. But yea dinan a specs are a hair conservative
