am not judging them , but i have noticed that on few occasions both of them have displayed the sense of entitlement and in some cases little bit of arrogance towards the waiters or floor managers. In his case she was upset because the person who asked for the contact number was not polite and it is fair argument but she could always say NO instead of giving away wrong number.

One of our favourite places in Chennai….their chicken 65 biriyani is all time favourite …othiri spicy enn thonitilla …but you can always ask the spice level before ordering …Chennai il kittuna taste Bangalore branch il illenkilum spice level always felt correct….Also felt Dindigul biriyani is supposed to be this way, urupad angane flavour illa, mild aa..

mrinalji as you said the aunthenticity differs ..i am from palakkad what they get in pkd is also somewhat like this but if you go to coumbatore its totally different and its awesome.. what we get in UK right now also different. somewhat ok. but chennai ones are really good

Hi, Mrinal, last week we visited the Dindigal Thalappakkatty Biriyani restaurant in Thambaram Chennai and tried Pepper chicken lollipops, CB and Chicken 65 biryani and Mutton biryani. Lolipop was very spicy but it was so tasty. But come to the biryani not too good in taste and a special thing I noticed is that compared to Kerala biryani, they are providing more rice than chicken and mutton pieces. Even i felt the same. Had same experience from the outlet at lulu mall food court. Had a mutton biriyani. Got 2 little pieces which was at the top as you said. The price only justifies the amount of pepper and chilly they give us😂. Was the first time trying thalappakettu. Wish it had some flavour of the meat used in it. Only thing filled was mind, with disappointment..! Never going to the outlets in Kerala for sure, no ideal about the rest.

Biriyani looks different from Dindigul Thalappakatti in Dindigul and Chennai. It seems rice is not Jeeraga samba🧐 Well that raita looks the same. Also, papadam is an add-on. I like that😍

Dindigul biriyani they don't put meat and cook along with the rice. Pieces are also given less. It's overpriced. Star biriyani is better.

ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വളരെ മോശ അനുഭവം ആണ് thalappakkatti ചെന്നൈയില്‍ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടായി. Over rated less quantity and average qulatity food anu. Goli soda k 60-80 anu price. No gravy. Curry we must oder separate.

Dindigul thalappakati serves utmost authentic tamilnadu dishes..They are asking for mobile number is becoz you will get credit points in every visit,which can be redeemed in ur bill the next time. So Whomever is willing to try their food must go for Poratta preferably bun Mutton Paya Mutton biriyani Chicken kondattam Dragon chicken You will love it especially with the curry they serve with biriyani..✌️

I had food at this restaurant with my parents last weekend. I also like spicy food but all the food that they serve here are extremely spicy and hot that the tongue and throat gets shocked and after that we won't be able to taste any flavour in the food. Extremely disappointed as I had high hopes while planning to visit this branch at kalamassery.

I recently took parcels of both their Chicken and Mutton biriyani and must say that their mutton pieces were not cooked at all and as rightly mentioned..it's was 🔥... Chicken on the other hand was not bad ...but nothing to hype out...

Kochi le DT is not worth it. The are charging too much for such a below average biriyani. Chicken biryani de koode kittiya 2 piece chethu vachapolum satharan oru piece nte size aakilla. Worst experience and extremely sad and unsatisfied as a biriyani lover
