Dine in the 419: Father John's Restaurant & Microbrewery 

BRYAN, Ohio (WTVG) -- If you only watch one thing today, WATCH THIS. Then, plan a trip to Father John's Restaurant & Microbrewery, 301 W. Butler St., Bryan, OH.
Dr. John Trippy is a retired Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. He bought the church, which dates back to 1895, to ensure it would not get torn down. Shortly after that, he was inspired to transform it into a place that accepts all religions, based on the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi. Then, Dr. John started making beer.
The result is a restaurant, microbrewery, event space, and Bed and Breakfast. It's filled with unique items around every corner and certain rooms are cause for pause. One of them features a swinging table shaped like a cross with a casket (under plexiglass) in the ground below.
General Manager Nicki prepares us a FULL Red Snapper flown in fresh from Costa Rica. The classic style of a whole fish served to your table is called the "Sermon on the Mount" platter, complete with "loaves." Grill Cook Tyson shows us how the triple stacked bison smash burger comes together. It's made with bison from Dr. John's own "Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve" in Fremont, Indiana.
We also get a sample of some cocktails and beer with a rundown of what's on tap from Brother John, the brewer and assistant manager. And it wouldn't be complete without dessert: Cheesecake and Bread Pudding.
