On Saturday, August 21, iconic hubs around our Nation's capital were abuzz! Family, friends, colleagues, neighbors and strangers gathered with smiling faces - picnic gear in tow - anxiously awaiting details of their final destination! Hurricane Henri passed thru earlier in the day giving way to beautiful, clear skies. As the sun faded behind the skyline of DC, Pennsylvania Avenue, just in front of the United States Capitol, came alive! In a short time, thousands of people, dressed so elegantly in white, descended upon this space to celebrate an occasion. And what an unforgettable evening it was!
