This could have been a great video, but unfortunately I am not seeing much footage of the watches, forget about details. Please bring more focus on the watches. Also, I suspect there is more to his collection. If he is a Genta fan, I am sure he would have a AP, IWC Ingeneur or something attributed to Genta.

i feel like the person who made this video does not understand watches. you only covered 3 of them and lol the 3 worst ones. you can tell DK knows A LOT about watches and is passionate. you guys didn’t tap into it at all. try a format where you sit with him and go one by one asking him insightful questions and making comments on the watches as you go. DK is very knowledgeable on watches and would have loved this. better for the viewer as well.

Yes founded on 1860. Just lack of knowledge. He only knows Panerai prominence since the 1990’s and probably thought that’s when the brand was founded.

Panerai launched internationally around 2001, they got commercialized recently. Though it’s a very old brand ~160+ years selling equipments, supplies to Italian and several other military/navy

Hi, Cred please give a better presentation next time you do a video like this. The screentime you have given to the actual 'obsession' is so less, it was painful to watch as a horology enthusiast. I think DK has a genuine taste given the showpiece watches the rest of his counterparts wear. About the Panerai I believe he was mentioning the culture in India...with Dhoni as an ambassador, and the interest has genuinely grown over the recent years here. All in all a lovely watch collection displayed here. But do a better job Cred next time.

Hey! Just to clarify, his statement was that "Panerai is a new, growing brand". He knows that the brand has been around for 163 years, but has recently only began to surge in popularity, hence his statement "new, growing brand" is accurate to some extent. Panerai was not popular a decade ago so his statement is factually right.

Him saying that Panerai is a new brand, jus growing is well, wrong. Panerai has it's roots back in 1860. So definitely not a new brand. The brand has a rich history through the Second World War, making watches for the Italian Navy. Panerai watches were tactical pieces of gear for Italian frogmen. So yeah, Panerai is a very old brand with a rich history.

Dinesh - Panerai is not a new brand. GIovanni Panerai opened his first shop in Firenze Italy in 1860. The shop is still there today.

Starting with classic watches - Breitling , Omega , Tag Heuer - All expensive ( Not even in affordable price bro). மிகவும் விலை உயர்ந்தது. Citizen , Fossil , Casio , Tissot , Seiko - Affordable watches (Need to do savings for 3 to 6 months to buy these watches in reality 😊). Your watch collections are good. Rather than running behind the brands it’s good you are seeing the creativity and the mechanical function of the watch is great and much appreciated 😌. I learnt much about winding watches , Automatic , Eco drive, Quartz from my grandfather (60 years - started from Watch Mechanic and become a owner and had a lovely showroom). He made me to feel how a watch is connected to us by emotion. By keeping the watch near your ears (Tick Tick sound - is the (Heart Beat of the watch)😊. Especially in Quartz.

Nope, mechanical is correct. Mechanical watches have mechanism inside consisting of gears, spring balance, balance wheel and a lot of other tiny pieces which work together to tell the time instead of an integrated circuit. Mechanical watches mainly consist of automatic or hand wound watches.

Umm…. Panerai is not a new brand! It has existed since the 1930s. The Radiomir was developed in the 1940s. They had a bit of a revival in the 90s when Stallone started wearing them.

Good collection, not well-rounded IMO. I didn't agree with the viewpoint on watches to start with. For someone starting out with mechanical watches and is limited with budget, Longines, Oris, Hamilton, Tag, Seiko, Citizen, and Tissot are some of the options (apart from some amazing lesser-known microbrands). He has recommended Breitling, Omega and Tag for starters, amongst which Brieling and Omega are rather expensive unless one goes for their very low like De Ville. For quartz watches, Casio, Seiko, and Citizen entry-level watches are great for beginners but they can consider Swiss-made quartz watches too, by Longines VHP series, Tissot PRX series, and Hamilton Khaki quartz.
