paint stripper works well, and leaves the details, scrape only with plastic tool

Hi Willy, Martin is right. I have used Easy Off oven cleaner to remove paint on repaints. If you let it sit maybe 10-15 minutes then rub the paint off with a plastic knife and a plastic brush it will often come off and leave the original finish. It will take all the paint off if you leave it too long though. Cheers!

Why not use paint stripper???

I managed to strip paint of a lamp with paint stripper, leaving the original paint. I did a bit and wiped it off quick. Then worked around it. The paint sticks on the chips.

If you use a wire brush like that you will polish off the details, I don’t understand why you are doing this, crazy

Strip the paint with cheamical stripper...
