Welcome Traveler Family to our Table! We had so much fun with this Dinner at The Edison which is located in the heart of Disney Springs. It was definitely a roller coaster with some ups and downs as we sampled the most popular items on the menu. The entertainment was lively and the service was excellent!

I am so glad we could give you info to make an informed choice. It is good for those that like a more lively dinner with a live show. Not really our style either as my anxiety was high. Between the glass wall behind me, the food parade, and the stage show below us with the monitor in front of us I was on overload for sure. Totally agree disney has some great food experiences. The food was good but the bacon and some of the dishes on the menu were a little pricey we thought.

I am watching this again. I just caught that you said the seats were uncomfortable. I just want to say as a viewer I really appreciate that. I have a disability and hard seats and non supportive backs can ruin what could be a great meal. Just because I am in so much pain. Thank for putting so much detail your reviews 🥰.

Yes!!!! They were so hard! I always wonder if an actual person ever sits in the seats in some restaurants. I would think they would want you to stick around a bit and keep ordering food and drinks, especially, in this type of restaurant. But maybe they want you to dine and dash. It has been a while but wanted to check in. I really think this would be a great place to step back to the Great Gasby era. The drink menu looks super good, I loved the feel and the sound of this place. The burger looked great but that bun seemed a little large. Also good to see my name on your board. I watch. I click. I love your guys’ opinions so much. This restaurant was a strange one for my too. The food was ok for the price. We thought the wait staff was rushing us through dinner though he barely stuck around long enough to ask questions. The entertainment and the drinks were the only redeeming quality of the meal. My dad got one of the specialties called the Tesla, which was a play on an old fashioned, and that is my recommendation for anyone who wants a strong drink with their meal.

People in a FB group I am in that centers on moving to Orlando loves recommendations for non Disney restaurants in the area. I say go for it! I had a negative experience at Edison in 2019 so I’m in no huge hurry to return.

I've always heard mixed reviews for The Edison. I would have the same reaction about bacon priced at over $4 a piece. I struggle getting bacon or BBQ items while out because my husband makes his own bacon and is typically smoking something every other week. Really hard to pay the price for some of those items when his are usually better anyway. Also, Michelle no need to apologize for not liking something. Most people prefer the honesty because it helps us make our decisions since there are only so many days/stomach space while on vacation and I know I don't want to waste my time/money when there are SO many places to try!

My mom got me hooked on crackers and real butter. Jelly is also great with it. My mom has been gone for over 25 years and when I want to feel close to her I eat buttered pecan ice cream or crackers and butter! Lol

We liked the Edison, but our favorite burger was actually the Derby (over all of the burgers we tried). We were on a quest for the best burger and we liked the Edison burger better than some of the others we had tried. Another one we really liked was at the Boathouse. We actually didn't care for the Cityworks food much, everything that night was over salted.

We enjoyed The Edison just found it to be a little pricey. The burger was good but not as good as the Brown Derby burger you had us try. Still our favorite burger on property. Did you have the one at The Boathouse that has pimento cheese on it???

I agree with Michelle the bacon was way too expensive. We go to Disney about 1-2x a year for the races and its crazy to me that everything is so expensive. I mean the average person could buy enough groceries for a week for what it costs to eat an average meal for a family of four at Disney after food, drinks and a tip. But yet I keep going back. :)

The Grilled Cheese was fantastic. It is a little loud and gets louder as the night goes on. It was nice, just not a dining spot that will be on our most so.

Great video, I am a massive bacon fan but can’t agree more about the pricing. Great venue for a drink and relax. First time we ate there I made the mistake of looking over the bannister, triggered my vertigo, will not make that mistake again. Love the setting just have to be careful where I observe it from.

We have only been once, and there oven was broken. We could only have select items.. mainly the bacon.

Hi Mark! Lol we were talking about a chain called Toasted. They have burgers, sandwiches, salads and soup. Eat in or take out. It’s worth a try! -Michelle

There's nothing wrong with a good grilled cheese. The more cheese the better--especially with tomatoes and bacon added to it.

Steven I love tomatoes on mine as well. It had a great flavor and the perfect amount of cheese. Those two additions would have taken it over the top. Have a great week my friend.

It wasn’t that bad just a little pricey on some things. I will have to say it has a great vibe for having drinks with friends and enjoying the live entertainment. Scotty hope your having a great weekend..

Going to start a GoFundMe for your calamari that bacon is absolutely rip off they're out of their mind The chocolate covered bacon over at Poly is a much better deal and tasty too

Toyman you are so right about the bacon at the Polynesian being a better deal lol. The calamari was priced about the average price around property and not a bad portion. Hope you had a great weekend
