Welcome Travelers! Today it is Rainy and Cold in Florida and we decided to show you some things you can do if this happens during your vacation or time at Walt Disney World. We visited the Contemporary Resort and had lunch at The Contempo Café. We visited the Polynesian and picked up a chocolate covered strawberry and then whisked over to The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We even pointed out a few hidden Mickey's you can search for the next time you visit.
We want to thank you again for joining us and really appreciate your time traveling around with us! As always, travel and adventure is out there!

Well speaking of rainy days we have had a lot of them lately. We still go out and enjoy the Magic the best that we can. Any day at Disney is a great day..

What a great way to spend a cold and rainy day! We love to resort hop…Christmas is my favorite, but it’s fun any time of the year to visit lots of resorts. Katie used to make magic at the Poly…selling those yummy strawberries…we love all the restaurants there. Steakhouse 71 is the only Contemporary place we’ve visited. Your lunch looked yummy…will have to try that spot sometime! Take care to you both…and to all our traveler family! Always like seeing fellow travelers in the videos!😊

Hi Michelle and Todd! We love resort hopping ❤️ The multigrain turkey sandwich and the chocolate peanut butter pie looked absolutely delicious! 🥪😋🍫🥧🥜 The king cake looked amazing! 🤩😋😍 Loved both, the King Cake ❤️ and the Christmas Valentines Basket ❤️ Thank you for taking us resort hopping!

Julis so glad you enjoyed our rainy day adventure. Really didn’t get to wet because of being able to stay undercover on the monorail. Now being cold was a different story lol. Have a great rest of the weekend..

We did a progressive meal / monorail crawl on our last day and highly recommend that for anyone looking to resort hop or get out of the rainy weather for a bit. Had our app at Capt Cook's (pork nachos), main course at GF Cafe and then had that PB Banana pie from Contempo. It was really good, but very rich. Always appreciate you letting us tag along on your Disney adventures!

Lindsey those are the best. We are hoping Highway in the sky dining experience will come back one day, we would love to do that progressive dinner. Those Nachos are so so good.

It’s a great way to spend a day. I almost got off at Magic Kingdom to catch the boat to Wilderness lodge and the camp ground but it was to rainy at the time. Hope you have a great weekend…

After seeing your past videos, my family really wanted to go to steakhouse 71. We snagged some dinner reservations and I got to try the famed French onion soup, which was amazing. After one of the most awesome dinners we have had in a while, other family members wanted to stop by Contempo Cafe for desserts to go and they didn’t disappoint at all! Also we loved meeting Todd by chance on the monorail it was a vacation highlight for us.

Since you got the baby when you sliced into the King Cake tradition states you have to buy the next one. There are great places in New Orleans that ship and Haydel's is one.

When we ate there in Oct I wish they had the sandwich that had the pickle slices. That was a good sandwich when we ate it in 2019.

@@TravelingAroundDisney no we are not. We watch on an Amazon fire stick, so we can’t comment. I opened it on my iPad to leave a note. We really liked the old video where you went to Winter Park. We are DVC members and are talking about visiting there the next time we’re down there. Speaking of DVC, I heard Todd say you are looking into it. Good luck, and you might want to look into the legacy 14. The Riviera has restrictions on where you can use your points.

That was fun!! 2 questions - 1) Where was the Contemporary's Greeter, Carl from Pennsylvania, when you 1st got into the Contemporary (He made Magic for me in 2006!!)? And, 2) How much $$ are those yellow Map Crocs in BVG?? They're not on shopdisney yet.

I believe we did but we don’t have the map as part of the channel anymore because it was getting harder with all the tags. But we do still have it and when we see it we can’t me more grateful for our traveling family.
