I hear ya. It’s been hard for pretty much everyone. One thing to remember is that no matter how glamorous people’s lives appear on social media and media in general, the lenses of distortion called the screen always makes it seem like life is blissful and perfect. When in fact life is not perfect for anybody including these guys. Everyone has their struggles. However I am of the mindset and speak from experience when I choose to be happy and positive even if it’s hard; that life can be blissful even if you have storms come and go. You have to appreciate the weather changes and contrast in life as what actually makes life wonderful, precious and through that beautiful as a whole. It’s the dark that makes the light brighter and gives us greater appreciation, gratitude and bliss in our lives. Easier said than done but comes more and more with practice and persistence. Remember to always make time to do things you love doing in life. You need it to survive the storms. I found myself in a similar spot with the pandemic and having started freelancing for myself three years ago. It has been really really hard a lot of times, and I have often just worked myself to the bone that I dragged my productivity and progress down, as well as forgetting what I even loved doing and my goals of what I ultimately want to do, of working in motion graphics and or vfx for film and tv instead of just graphic design for generic design work and not interesting projects and clients. If you want any advice at all, I would strongly suggest to find friends, family you can confide in who will lift you up and listen, and be a sounding board. Also just as much if you were like me and forgotten what you loved about life for a time, just remember to get outside, loose and forget about unnecessary worries as much as you are able, and try doing various things you think you might be interested in or just try random stuff that sounds like a good idea that will expand your horizons on what you can do for career if that’s in question or for fun if it’s just about that you have lost passion in life. Remember every day is a blessing and a miracle that we are all here today with bodies that allow us to breathe and experience life, learn, live and love. Good luck to you, the universe is your oyster if you crack it open and see what’s inside. :)

I couldn't get beyond the eating with the sharks bit. Perhaps it had the feel of reality TV, which sadly showcases the worst of humanity. I didn't find it fun to see people risking harm in a world where people are willingly choosing risky behavior with the virus, and so that's where my thoughts went. But, I also see how much of a burden this platform places on content creators to up their game all the time to meet with the interests of their audience. I just love their daily life storytelling. That's plenty adventurous for me!
