This song is the ultimate. Weak ass opening, then the out-of-the-blue surprise gorgeous scintillating manna from heaven of the sparse notes of the solo. And the bass... holy shit! It is so fucking good. I wish they played this all the time. There is nothing quite like Lou when he gets going. God, I love this song! Best song on Bug hands down. Top 3 Dinosaur song. I dreamed about this song when I was a kid back in the 80s. Still gives me chills.
Yep, sometimes think the only one who thinks the ending of this one is the most powerful emotion inducing piece rock ever made. Love dinosaur jr always kinda like tarpit the ending to this one gets me everytime.
My dumbass thought they would have a hard time nailing the ending of this one live. Nope j, lou, and murph did it again as usual. Even withou just one guitar and not all the overdubs. My opinion is the ending of this song is one of the coolest and most beatiful rock music masterpieces of all time. It gets me everytime i hear since 1988.
I thought it was a straight-edge song. Being sick of dealing with drug people's shit. Then it transforms into a song about how evil people can not touch him because he has this music that protects him from negativity. My take. Zero clue if it holds water with J.
