It’s really fascinating seeing how much our perception and understanding of prehistoric animals has changed over the last 200 years. Not just the designs, art styles as well have evolved to be more realistic with many creative and diverse ideas on how prehistoric life was like. I personally like both nostalgic paleo art of the Victorian era, 1980s-to-2000s era to the current era of paleo art that’s based on the latest scientific discoveries.

@@nanotyrannusisnotvalid4820 Therizinosaurus starts off on the ground and later it's figured out that they actually stood in a more upright position (Also, it looks like the first construction has the hind/front feet flipped, lmao). For the Spinosaurus, it's portrayed as standing up, but as time goes on it gets lower. One goes up and the other goes down, lol.

@@andykerkhofs1945 at first Therezinosaurus was believed to be something of a giant snapping turtle because only the claws were found. Therezinosaurus is still very fragmentary. Spinosaurus is a weird one. We don't even know if some of the bones actually belong to aegyptiacus or maybe another subspecies, or another species of the genus altogether. We aren't even sure if it could walk or swim. Some say it couldn't walk because of body and others say it couldn't swim because it could easily flip over and drown.

Giving each decade its own font is a nice touch. Interesting how some changes are mainly due to incompleteness of fossils (Spinosaurus, Deinocheirus) while others are mainly because of different concepts of how they behaved (Edmontosaurus) or both (Ichthyosaurus).

The Velociraptors in Jurassic Park are actually just Deinonychus. In the movies they were called after the Velociraptor because it was easier to pronounce.

Because they were never based on velociraptor… they are just deinonychus misnamed to velociraptor, so it’s not really a “sigma move” especially considering it’s not even an actual velociraptor

this does not disappoint at all I loved it all the way through! but there were some thing that I thought could make it better. I think you could have had the carnivorous gastornis then the herbivorous one, the deinocheirus could have had the featherless stage though it probably looks to similar to the new one. I'm not nit picking or anything, I know how long it takes to design these things and then put them in the video, and again great video
