•1lbs pork belly
•1 lbs pork shoulder
•1 lbs pigs ears
•11/3 cups vinegar
•1 whole bulb of garlic
•1 big onions
•2 big tomatoes
•1 tbsp ground pepper
•1 tsp salt
•1 tbsp chicken powder

Hi mama Lulu. I'm from Indonesia, your dish Dinuguan its really same with our local dish (traditional food) come from other side of Indonesia in Sumatera Utara, the name of our food is "SAKSANG" pork meat we cooked with the blood. For the blood we mix with Lemon or lime juice but the ingredient we use lot of spices like ginger, galangal, lemongrass, dry coconut, bay leaves, Chilli, onion and garlic.... Love this Filipino dish...!!! When I first saw it I though it was disgusting. My Filipino co-workers told me it was pig's blood, so I decided to try it. And I fell in love with it! I was hooked! It really was delicious. I tried chicken dinuguan, didnt care for it, but pork dinoquan was absolutely delicious. Love, love, love this delicious dish. 👍👍👍🥰❤

Love this! I will incorporate part of this recipe into mine. Will also try adding lemongrass. This was my dad’s specialty only he used beef blood and red wine vinegar. My dinuguan will be a combination of my dad’s, Mama Lulu and my own tweaks to create the ultimate dinuguan. Thank you Mama Lulu!
