@@ShaytoSweet The fact that you think Dio is misunderstood baffles me. This man, upon arriving at the Joestar residence for the very first time, kicks his new step-brother's dog in the face. For literally no reason. He just did it because he felt like doing it. This man tried to ruin Johnathan's life by stealing his girlfriend's first kiss and making her feel she could never face Johnathan ever again because of it, humuliating Johnathan in the only sport Johnathan thought he was good at (which just so happened to be boxing, so Dio got to beat him up too and get away with it), and literally trapping Johnathan's dog in a box and setting the box next to the furnace so that the groundskeeper would put the box in the furnance, thus burning Johnathan's dog alive and killing it. Oh, and about the baby thing. The baby's mother pleaded with Dio to not turn her baby into a vampire. And Dio, being the nice man that he is, obliged. What he DID do, was turn the mother into a vampire, knowing full well that the mother would eat her own child alive. Oh, and let's not forget about the countless innocent people Dio murdered after becomming a vampire, just because he felt like it.

Well The World isnt some "invincible shield" to those without stands. Its like an energy barrier capable of stoping any force it can match in Attack Potency. As for this fight tho, Alucard struggles to match anywhere near the AP DIO can take. So for this fight, yeah you're right. It would mean its basically an indestructible shield.

@@RosaVitae There's also the fact that even if Alucard could match the AP that Dio can take, it still wouldn't be enough. The World is over 800,000 times faster than Alucard's best speed, so it could easily bitch-slap Alucard's fastest attacks away from Dio. Even if Alucard somehow got past that, Dio can just touch Alucard for an instant to freeze Alucard solid and then escape. Even if Alucard somehow got past THAT, then Dio can just spam Time Stop to counter however he wants. Dio's defense just has too many layers for Alucard to reliably get through, while Dio has everything he needs to whittle down Alucard over time and win a contest of attrition.

A virgin drinks it, a vampire they be otherwise, drinking it just turns the body into a ghoul. Since even as a joke...yeah dio is not a proper vampire, meaning this is something you would need to take into consideration...in an amusing way anyway lol

I know this battle is pretty confusing considering the amount of powers and abilities both of them, but think of it like this: Not only does Dio counter the few abilities that Alucard has that might be able to get him a W, but he also has a huge stat advantage on top of that. Even if he played it safe and didn't use level zero, there's nothing stopping Dio from just spamming time-stop and one-shotting Alucard 3 million times until Alucard dies. Oh, and the fight animation doesn't always reflect Death Battle's research. They've made this clear multiple times in the past. It's there for entertainment value more then anything.

@@TheEmpiresStrongest that is actually heavily debated they claim he can spam it infinity but jotoro in the series can use it too and he reveals that it uses both energy and puts strain on the heart and It has a 30 second cooldown for him so dio probably has 1 as well but a lot shorter since he is a fake vamp shortest time between his uses was about 4-5 seconds give or take so not to bad but still it's a limit also DIO needs to consciously activate Time Stop, which means that surprise attacks can prevent him from stopping time and it only lasts from 5-9 seconds though it did go for 10-11 in 1 fight but that mite have been a inconsistency still debated

@@zekecooper6055 I'm pretty sure dio in the final fight states that the longer he practices the quicker he can use time stop and the longer it can go. By the end of that final fight it had grown to 10 seconds but there still was a cool down.

@@AldoTegan Oh dude, Alucard is a badass, don't get it twisted, but Dio is built different. One thing I will point out that DB doesn't bring up is Dio's total arrogance, like when he was fighting Jotaro, Dio didn't use his more esoteric vampire powers, (i.e. eye-beams or freezing) once, instead abusing his stand powers to troll the Stardust Crusaders, which arguably led to his demise. Personally, I think Alucard could have used Dio's ego to get under his skin or trick him to claim the W a few times if this was a best out 10 kind of thing, but overall I'd have to agree with DB.

@@Spinosaur101 practically dio wins any fight against Alucard if it’s a fight in a closed space with zero people anywhere in that world. He would have to kill alucard a couple million times to actually beat him, even then if it’s a world where’s there’s people he would have to beat alucard a couple billion times, since alucard can just kill every person to keep himself going, not to mention alucard is omnipresent which is pretty much unbeatable unless dio can fight without stopping for months. Even longer if alucard doesn’t lose souls, that is if you believe in the soul count. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t lose extra lives from any injuries besides holy weapons.

To be fair to Death Battle, they had Alucard use the Level Zero purely for the battle’s sake. Realistically, he would have kept fighting without using it but they did address it wouldn’t matter. It would just take a while as Dio mowed through 3 million souls of lives

@@zayzillions7319 The entire reason Alucard vanishes for 30 years is because he is killing the souls he absorbed with Schrodinger. He is only able to keep Schrodingers soul. Seras and Pip are just 2 souls in one body. That’s much different than 3 million. The explanation of Schrodingers power and how it works in him is weird but he literally has to purge all the souls to come back.

DIO is just that charismatic. He can make many support him unless they have the strongest of heart and mind. Alucard can manipulate you if he wants but he just loves loopholes for carnage in general. Hellsing Abridged really helped hit home how hard he can go with a single approval or not to cut lose. He hates monsters and does not care much if at all for collateral.

basically the key takeaway is that the JoJo universe (that Dio comes from) plays fast and loose with physics so much that it's on a completely different scale from most anything else. Train hard enough and breathe correctly, and you can dodge light. In the few seconds it takes to fall down a cliff, you can have a five-minute conversation, a battle to the death, and come up with a strategy to save yourself from falling. Rule of cool lets people basically fly. People have Personas. Some people can predict the future. Fate both exists and can be beaten. And so on.

To summarize the battle, the reason they had Alucard real ease level 0 so early is because it would’ve taken too long and cost to much to animate Dio killing alicard 3 million times in a row Dio isn’t weak to holy weapons so alucard couldn’t kill him with his guns, Dio was much faster and stronger physically than alucard and his stand (the world) is completely immune to any sort of damage that is no caused by another stand meaning that alucard couldn’t hurt or even see the world at all, plus with all the blood alucard employs as a weapon it gave Dio a free way to heal himself, basically no matter what alucard threw at Dio he could either survive or avoid it meaning that eventually Dio would kill alucard enough times that he’d die for good. Dio doesn’t have any specific physical weakness like alucard does, the only thing that can kill Dio for good is the sun and given that Dio can stop time however much he wants, it could take “weeks” for a single night to pass and in that time Dio could easily kill alucard enough times to either put him down for good or force him to release level 0 which just made dios job easier since it knocked alucard down to a single “life”

To people saying Schrodinger Alucard should’ve been used, no he shouldn’t have. Schrodinger Alucard only appears for literally 5 pages at the end of the manga and they never exactly explain what kind of upgrade this gives Alucard, it makes way more sense to use the version of him that existed throughout the entire series rather than this one form he gets right before it ends. And even if he had Schrodinger it wouldn’t help him win. DIO’s is still hundreds of thousands of times stronger and faster than Alucard so he won’t be able to kill him, her just won’t be able to die. And the whole thing about Schrodinger being everywhere and nowhere is bs in of itself. Alucard wouldn’t be able to exist literally everywhere. Schrodinger only had one physical body at a time, meaning he still couldn’t avoid DIO by existing everywhere because he still has a physical point, so yes DIO would eventually be able to hypnotize him and make him get rid of Schrodinger.

Alucard is literally unkillable at that point like not even Dio's time stop would stop him from absolutely destroying him. Because he is everywhere and nowhere so time isn't effective at all

@@BlackSaiyanUEG.O.D But Alucard still can’t kill Dio either cause he’s way weaker and slower than DIO is. Also the whole thing of being everywhere and nowhere is a bit of hyperbole. He can appear anywhere he wants but he still only has one physical body, so yes DIO would still be able to effect him. So at that point the battle would basically be a stalemate, at least until DIO with his much higher battle IQ figured out a way to get rid of Schrodinger.

Remember that it's an official Deathbattle rule that the animation is NOT an EXACT representation of how a fight would specifically go down. There are things in the research that are echoed in the fight, but it's mostly made for entertainment purposes. You should take everything that happens in it TOO literally. It's explination at the end that matters. This means Alucard may or may not have used Level 0 that early in the battle. He may have done it later. He may have done it even sooner. They couldn't draw the fight out an immense amount longer for him to use it because obviously don't have studio-level budget. So whether or not Alucard used Level 0 then, at the start of the battle, or at the very end, it simply wouldn't matter. Which sucks, because I wanted Al to win too.

When Death battle makes a character use their transformation early, or OP more early, y'know they're finna lose, like when they had Alucard use Level Zero hella early, like the battle already started within twenty seconds, and he just uses it, I can't deny it though, dio is much stronger, considering being vampire, and weilding a stand, still sucks that Alucard lost, Love your videos! ❤️ 👍

Why did Alucard use Lv0 so early? Let's put it this way. What else could he do? Wait for DIO to punch him 3 million times, which doesn't even take a second? At least the sheer number and bodymass could buy him some time to exploit DIO's weakness. Too bad DIO is way over that power level.

I am more of a JoJo fan but... *DIO in canon* - strong hit to head breaks his skull, gravely wounds his brain, and leaves him utterly defenseless and barely able to move *DIO in this* - high caliber explosive round blowing off the back of his head, DOES NOTHING

To be fair, the way they calculated power in this video, star platinums hit to his head would be WAYYYY stronger than ANY bullet. It does make sense when you take into account the methods they used to measure the strength. The mere fact that star platinums punch didnt complete disintegrate Dio’s entire head/body with the values used in the video shows how durable they consider him.

@@zaptor8784 Problem is, the animation for the episode does show the Casull pistol round causing a rather bloody exit wound. It did harm him, but somehow it also didn't do a thing, which doesn't make sense.

@@yrenekurtz5268 Probably something like his skin isnt super durable but his internals are/heal themselves instantly. After all, we do see dio being shot multiple times in jojo and the bullets enter no problem, he just doesnt care every time and acts like nothing even happened, even in his head. Silver chariot even stabs dio in the head, essentially mimicking the hole a bullet would make but even larger, and dio just time stops and shrugs it off.

That round realistically wouldn’t have even been strong enough to pierce Dio’s head what with Dio being 400,000 times more durable than his bullets. But even then the bullet exited the back of DIO’s mouth where there’s nothing important, while the punch, as you said, injured his brain. They’re not comparable.

@@cinnabarmanx4214Seeing where the exist wound is, a high caliber round like that would have severed clean the spine and caused heavy damage to the cerebellum, the pons, and the occipital lobe. So realistically speaking, that wound would have been even worse than SPs punch, leaving DIO quadraplegic and fully incapable of any movement.

If you dont get it yet, Alucard had no choice but to use level 0 because everything else he could do was useless (pun intended). And like they said theoretically did could kill alucard 3 million times until he died. I was rooting for alucard too in the beginning but they actually made valid points.

Second is the light speed bull$hit only 2 are faster than light star platinum and the world and that due to something called special relativistic time dilation. I suppose it just depends on if Dio hypnotizes him before he goes all omnipresent. I think its a fair case to say that time stop could aid Dio as well, since you cant really perceive yourself when time is not moving, thus he wouldnt be able to do anything with schrodinger while frozen. As for the draw thing, they literally said in the episode that if they gave him shrodinger it would probably end in a draw unless/until Dio hypnotizes him.

So to understand what all happened was aldcard was fight a vampire ablity that far better then his own the stone mask make it where normal gun and holy gun do absolutely nothing making it where aldcard gun where use less and that would make aldcard very concern be his gun are like one of the fast guns in the anime universe also with his dog form not working (and that half is power) it leave him no chose but to use lvl 0 from off repeat but that doesn’t matter because dio can be only be kill by two way by the sun or by killing dio stand the world (the shadow thing dio was using during the fight) but that not going to happen because the world ability time stop only dio can move during time stop (or anyone else with the same ability) but what make dio time stop strong is it grown more power the more he use it so for example (if he stop time for 3 seconds the time he stop it will stop 6 seconds and so on) and the world punching barrages to get a sense of how fast they are think of kaioken times 5 goku which is pretty fast and even if aldcard could have counter to those there still the problem of the world it stuff as only stand user can see other stands so aldcard would have no way of seeing dio stand the world and wouldn’t be able to tell when a punch about to happen there was no out for him

As it seems to me. Dio was stronger than Alucard only because he was 15 times faster than the speed of light. If I wasn't so fast, his ability to stop time wouldn't have given him a chance to beat Alucard 3 million times. Lasers from the eyes also make me laugh. In the anime, it was shown that the Alucard army was destroyed only by the consecrated weapons of heretics. Dio doesn't have any sacred artifacts. They also didn't show Dandy Man and Rip Van winkle. Dandy Man has cards that cause bleeding, and Rip Van Winkle bullets have the ability to cause damage from completely different angles all the time.

As a diehard jojo fan who has never seen hellsing. This fight is totally bullshit, DIO only won because deathbattle fundamentally doesn't understand jojo. Jojo is a series that completely ignores standard powerscaling or logic and as a consequence of that, attempting to scale jojo characters makes no sense. For example, Stone frees strength calculations in this video are entirely false. The manga expressly states that the limit of Stone Frees strength is crushing a coin in its fingers. So if that's her limit why can she punch meteors? The answer is the author thought it was cool, that's the answer to most things in jojo. They also say Silver Chariot is lightspeed in this video, which is flat out false as its directly stated in the source material that Silver Chariot IS NOT lightspeed. So basically, all of their calculations for Dio are entirely wrong because they dont understand that jojo doesn't work with powerscaling. Everything in jojo works off of it's own weird internal logic which all stems from the authors style of making shit up as he goes along. At the end of the day, DIO is just a guy, yeah hes vampire and can heal, but that really doesn't mean anything in this fight, dio litterally gets his leg chopped off by a piece of glass. The moment actual supernatural stuff gets involved, 99% of jojo characters get bodied because they're not written to be able to fight characters like that.
