Good eye! I see both cats and foxes on a regular basis, along with skunks, opossums, raccoons, armadillos, porcupines, the occasional hog, and of course lots of deer!
The lower power level Sports have or appear to have a smaller focus area. Diode Dynamics has really good customer service, reach out to them with questions about which may be best for your application.
The driving version only comes in the sport version, cant find the pro version on any of the websites. The fog light version comes in sport/pro/max and with or without Amber backlighting.
The ss3 are available in multiple power level’s and configurations. Here is a link: www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-white-pro-led-pod-pair.html
@@DoItTogether2022 Good to hear, I’ve got a pair on the way. Sounds like it’s the floods mounted up top that have more of an issue with glare on the hood, but the driving lights seem to be closer to a spot beam pattern. Thanks for taking the time to post!
Are these meant to be off road only lights? Would like to get something like this, as I was originally looking for a light bar but they are prohibited to use on the roads around here.
@@DoItTogether2022 sweet, I have a 94 lexus and saw some 3d printed adapters to make these fit right in the factory fog light locations. Would be a great addition considering the old halogen bulbs just don't perform well anymore and am hesitant about getting an HID conversion or try those aftermarket ebay projector headlights. Thanks for this video and the one comparing the pro VS sport ss3's 👍
From their website in regards to the SS3 When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standard as a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, and the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp, for legal on-road use
