My grandfather worked at this estate, it’s next to my mums village. Drummond Castle has the most stunning gardens, beautiful location for the fashion show.
They usually put out an edited version later, with better camera work. It’s difficult to coordinate all the cameras during a live show. Yes it’s frustrating but stay tuned for the better edited one.
What a production! The castle was beautiful in the evening light and the gardens were amazing. The clothes were stunning and with the wonderful pipers setting the scene, waifs drifted through the grounds as if in a time gone by.
Same here. Yes, it was a very good landscape and it was nice to show it at the start, but to keep showing it the entire show?? Terrible camera work of Maria Grazia Chiuri's beautiful collection.
It was gorgeous, but I have the feeling that I saw much more of the landscape, and probably only a third of the clothing. Having them come down the stairs was lovely except when they were behind that pillar. I would like to see still photos of each. From the aerial shots I am wondering if the models got bonuses for km walked.
Wow, I love these designs! I never get tired of tartans, since they have such a rich history. Maria Grazia Chiuri's designs are a beautiful reminder that fashion is so much more than mere commerce: fashion is art, culture, and history. I love that she balances bold, theatrical elements with more understated lines and details. Her Mexico collection (2024) also left me breathless.
I am going to watch this a few more times, it is such an amazing work of art, you just can't take in all of the intricacies in 1 sitting! Thank you! Love this!!
Watch Outlander, full of beautiful scenes from Scotland- and the colours/visuals/music are a hundred times better than this sad atmosphere. The Drummond Castle Gardens also make an appearance in Season 2- and the costumes are beautiful there.
An incredible show in an amazing location. This speaks to the history between Scotland and France. And an appreciation of Scottish artisanship that Dior has taken inspiration from over its history. Brèan Maison Dior!
Wow what a STRONG STRONG collection! Strong not only that design-wise it’s so intricate and intriguing - a surprise move from the epitome of minimalist chic of the last two shows. Strong also because the models look like they’re Highlands warriors strolling through a mystical castle with echoes of warriors past. Some of the silhouettes - in particular the antique lace dresses - remind me of MGC’s best work at Valentino (there’s always been a Renaissance streak in her designs), as well as, incidentally, Galliano’s Diorent Express. In the previews, MGC cites the strong, indomitable spirit of Mary Queen of Scots as inspiration. With the bagpipes droning on while the models file by, you can almost feel that historic presence. Scotland should be proud. No one else does Cruise like MGC and Dior! Brava! Or should I say, Brave❤️!
Enzo
Beautiful...and so proud to be born Scottish...Beautiful tartans and lace...just gorgeous all around 🏴🏴🏴 what an exquisite place for the show at Drummond Castle ..❤
It is an amazing collection. Maria has outdone herself once again. She is by far the most talented fashion designer in the industry. Dior is lucky to have her. Brava Maria.
Drone mastery and spotless landscaping. Beautiful shades of greens and reds. Endless garden paths and relaxation areas. Impressive castle. We will definitely book for the summer.
Lovely garden, dates to the 1630s but was restructured in the 1830s and is A- listed. Would like to visit some day. Lots of young women walking around, would’ve been nice to see what they were wearing.
The sundial is 17th Century, amazingly. The garden was rather horribly Victorianised with coloured gravel, "terraces", one billion African marigolds and all the other "bedding" horrors of the 19th Century. It is gradually being brought back to its earlier magnificence and taste.
it is about being aspirational for the mass lower and middle classes, the young women and their clothes is secondary, even the brand itself is now bold enough to admit through this presentation
Divine, beautiful, thank you for this incredible living art. Will watch again and again. Such peace and tranquility in the gardens, such beauty and strength in the clothing.
Wonderful wardrobe for a dystopian future. Incredible craftsmanship will last a long time. Love the sallow makeup palette which enhances the aesthetic.
Mr Dior himself did two collections here in Scotland many many years ago long before Westwood and McQueen were even born! It’s the Tartan and the Harris Tweed that’s throwing you but this collection leans very much to the cut of Mr Dior himself, far different tailoring to Westwood and McQueen who should also not be seen as the same because their tailoring style is very different too.
Actually I live near hand and they were more likely to be suffering from the heat in those clothes because it was a beautiful day! A wee walk never hurt anyone, I’ve been round those gardens many times and I’m 60!! They were not being asked to climb Ben Nevis!!
This is a very beautiful collection filmed in a very beautiful place. Dior is doing a lot better these past couple of collections. Bravo to all those involved in creating this.
Wonderful Collection Dior Cruise 2025❤❤Princely ,a true fable ❤Amazing fabrics, every dress is a masterpiece 💐Scenary in Scotland with music, all very suggestive ❤Very good ❤Dior and all his Team🌹💐💐
Yes, this is a beautiful collection! Cohesive, very French with the Scottish inspiron and very Dior. I’ve come to find long-drawn destination shows exhausting but I enjoyed this. Stunning grounds. I actually think the videography was nicely balanced between the garden captures and views of the garments.
This is a Fashion Art concept to be replicated in many other incredible places around the world! If people are worried about not seeing the entire collection, perhaps this runway concept doesn't have that specific appeal at first glance, but rather an innovative take on the runway. Bravo, Maria, and Bravo, the entire project team!❤

Beautiful grounds! Hate see-through dresses! Lobed the burgundy dress with the square bodice! Also loved the full skirt with the black and floral interspersed. ❤
The garden was part of the back drop for the filming of "Outlander". I have lived here all my days and the scenic backdrop still takes my breathe away.
@@user-oi4iq6cb7j Well, that was unnecessarily cruel. I know enough to spell "their" correctly. I also have a 30 year background in fashion so .. maybe go for a walk?
I liked a lot of the looks, but why SO many. And similar ones too. I feel like i didn’t need to see a whole online catalogue on a show. Not only that, but you can barely see any of the clothes. The garden is cute and all but SO many shots of the garden and they all look alike too.
extremely frustrating filming - I would have loved to have had a proper look at the clothes. For me the feel of what was trying to be portrayed was lost with pointless sweeping shots of grounds from above. I want to see the clothes, not the gardens.
Hello, thank you for sharing your video in the Highlands. Tartan is back? I have tartan clothing that I rarely wear. It is for warmth in the Winter because I am cold. I still wear my traditional woolens in the Winter to stay warm. The Celtic bagpiper was marvellous. I am surprised to receive this. The tartan outfits look beautiful. Charmed with your surprising connection. Delighted with that ancient castle what a great fortress!!!
Wow...amazing view...beautiful fashion. It is a loss for such a beautiful place to be wasted. It is very fitting that a fashion show is done here, fashion and nature become one
Oh I want ALL THE BOOTS and BAGS... and about 90% of the clothes!!!!! Glorious! However, none of the clothes would fit me...stunning as they are. The setting for this show is just so perfect for every section of design.
I'm in love with this collection. Different textures, accessories, footwear, etc. It will inspire how I put together items of clothing I have, but haven't found a way to style them.
They have worn Westwood and McQueen, they will wear Dior and it’s not Diors first Rodeo in Scotland, the man himself sold two collections here in his early years. Yes not everyone likes Tartan but you won’t get better quality than this collection.
The tartans are beautiful and the lace, exquisite. The setting spectacular, although seeing these beautiful clothes was far more difficult due to the camera angles and distance.
