I have multiple Iris perfumes but this one sounds so gorgeous! I actually really enjoy that note, and how it adds a lipstick-y touch but how it can also have some earthy sweetness.
I had two friends over and had the two of them did a blind test with Dior Homme Original (The one from across the pond), Dior Homme Intense, and Dior Homme Parfum. All three of us had completely different rankings for all three. I actually think all three are fantastic, I'm sorry Dior Homme Intense doesn't do anything on your skin. My buddy Brett went Parfum, Original, Intense My buddy Post went Intense, Parfum, Original I went Original, Intense, Parfum All three of us liked and would wear all three, they're all masterpieces, but I just thought it was funny how when they didn't know what was coming we all had different opinions.
Blind bought this recently as this was the only one missing for me from the line. Did not regret it at all and your review is spot in. Smooth, rich and classy. One thing this reminds me of: Dextro Energy Grape Sugar Candy! Not sure if you have that stuff in America, but I feel like if you like either you probably like the other one too. 🙂
They have 2 clones that are supposed to clone the dhi and dhp. Camaro intense clones dhi and garys den fomo clones dhp. I got camaro on the way to check it out
That's in my top 10 frags of all time. I have the vintage bottle picked up in a Cyprus airport, the duty free had so many discontinued perfumes. It's a 10/10 frag. Also, cracking microphone is back, hope you get that fixed. Much love.
Where I live this is super expensive. With tax it's around $300. I always wanted to try it, but do you really think it is worth the price? I have the intense already and am not a huge fan
I acquired this not too long ago when it popped up on fragbuyca. It’s great. I found a rare gem Dior Homme L’eau for a steal. It’s amazing. I got the two extreme ends of the line and I’m satisfied! I’m glad you added this to your collection. I saw it at CDG this summer too for such a good price I would have waited and just bought it there but FOMO! Btw my AO Yacht Mood arrived the other day. It’s so great. The most unique aquatic IMO. AO knows what they’re doing.
God yes, this one smells incredible. But try as I might, it was just way too cloying kind of overwhelming unless applied with a qtip. I do wear the original silver stemmed Homme quite often though, amazing blend. Bet the Parfum is great on you though. Totally agree, have to be dressed to the nines and in very cold weather to tame this beast. ❤️❤️😘
Picked it up after years of hype, for a great price and i prefer it to the intense even though I don't pick up any oud. And it's not as redundant as I thought it be. The new mic sounds like it has some feedback issues, reverb or a light echo.
I thought having DHI was good enough and wouldn’t need DHP until I finally got it. I was so wrong lol I needed this in my collection it’s so good and isn’t too redundant either

If you drive/commute 2hrs a work day x 20 work days a month = 40hrs a month… x 12 months = 480hrs a year going to and from work??? That’s 20 days of your life yearly gone-zo🤦♂️no way. Lol the price you pay to live somewhere nice. I work 6 days a week, and I honestly wouldn't change this for anything. Commuting isn't that bad; you get to listen to a podcast or unwind to some music. Not a bad gig imo.
