I totally agree with your review and the fact that the new version is an entirely different fragrance, albeit likable and better than original J'adore. I am still testing it. I own both 2010 and 2017 L’Or versions, which are so alike to each other and my favorite scent of all time. One thing I notice immediately after the first burst is its similarity to Alien. I only own a small older version bottle, as it is not something I would wear, but this new J’adore L’OR is a lot more wearable for one thing. As far as the bottle gold neck, I like the looks of it in spite of it is not stable on the bottle, and you can not grab it by the neck for sure.
Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on the J’Adore L’Or’s. My very first bottle was the 2010 version and then I repurchased the 2017 back in 2017. So I’ve had this bottle for close to 7 years. I have another full one. Yes, the cap is so flimsy! I almost dropped the bottle the first time I picked it up. You also have to be careful how you open the box. I wish I could get some more backups of either of the old versions but they’re already going for up to $200 on eBay. Thanks for watching!🙂

Love your videos and reviews . You like a number of the fragrances I love and enjoy . I’m an 80s &90s fragrance girl . I have the original J’adore EDP but not L’OR although I find a few fragrance houses have a habit of reformulating or worse discontinuing fragrances I fall in love with . It’s frustrating at times . You never know what you’re getting in the next bottle you purchase . Again love the reviews and I’m new to your channel as a subscriber . Laura from Canada . I have just managed to procure a 2017 version......ive been wanting it a long time and saved pennies. Brand new and boxed too!! I looked at the 2023 version, but as you say dior are renowned for butchering scents. They completely botched pure poison as the white cap is far more superior than the purple cap. Thank you for this as always so educational video, whereas i just play a goof in mine. I could listen to you all day and it is lovely to hear a perfect french accent. Are you in France? ❤

Hi there! If you can’t find any testers online (some websites still sell them), then my advice would be to pick a second-hand website and check three times a day. That's how I found my backup and how my friend found hers. Thanks for watching!🙂
I felt the new one was just a bit dull when I reviewed it but actually a nice fragrance. My friend at work wears it (and oversprays!! 😂) and the jasmine is full frontal on her. The other notes get a bit lost. She also wears the Favourite and she oversprays that too. I agree with you, it's BIIIGG!!!!
@@lukeparfums I really like it actually, more so on my friend than up close on me. She leaves a huge trail and smells pleasant but not overwhelming, but then, I like jasmine 😂
We enjoy some fragrances on others more than we do on ourselves, which is normal. I love Angel when I smell it on someone. I don’t really wear it myself even though I should because it’s beautiful. I love jasmine too but overspraying L’Or might give me a headache. I don’t want to risk it!😂🤭
I have the new L’Or and unfortunately I didn’t get wowed by it. It’s okay and it doesn’t last on me more than 3 hours. I’m happy to have it because the bottle is beautiful and I got it engraved.

I'm one of few people who absolutely hates J'adore, so i never bothered to smell the flankers. I now feel bad i didnt because i'm sure i would have loved it if you do too
That’s okay. I don’t care for the original either but the old J’adore L’Or is absolutely nothing like the original. Another amazing flanker that is worth trying is Touche de Parfum. It’s reminiscent of Samsara. I’m not sure if they still make it. Thanks for watching!🙂

Oh, no. They always discontinue the best ones, don’t they? I never picked it up either. L’Or 2010/2017 also smells a little bit like Samsara but Touche is straight up Samsara. If you see it for a good price on any second hand websites, I really recommend it. You can always resell it on eBay for more if you don’t like it.
Touche is a cross between L’Or and Samsara. It comes in a small dabber bottle because it’s meant to be worn as a base for other J’adores but it smells gorgeous on its own too.😕
