Hi everyone, my wife and I decided to shoot a little bit while we were on vacation in Mexico. I shot all of this in the Prores UHD 422 Codec on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema 6k. I did not use any diffusion filters, everything was natural lighting. I used my new LG C1 display to edit and the m1 base model Mac Studio.
I colored this using a combination of techniques, but the main tool I used here is the Dehancer plugin in Davinci Resolve. Since I was using the trial, I was forced to export 1080p and upscale it to 4k since the trial wouldn't let me use 4k. I hope to purchase the plugin soon, as it was very helpful!
Video review of Dehancer coming soon. Film emulation has become a new obsession of mine, and I would like to take some time to test all the techniques using this spec commercial as test footage.
