ATTENTION before buy this product I got the bag today but i have a issue The material of the shoulder strap is different, and there is no fluorescent patch on the shoulder strap. The most problematic thing is that the weight (1.3kg) is very different from the weight described (1.7kg), so it is not light and bulky, so it is not stable. However, the person in charge says it is the same product. I was very disappointed. The bag I received may be a prototype product, it has different details from other RU-vidrs or my friend's products.
Tilta Mirage is amazing for the price. I legit have the bright tangerine misfit kick 3 with solid a ND set and a VND one tray setup.. yet I reach for the mirage more often than not. Nice setup btw, just need that lens support (probably have one by now) and you're rockin and rollin!
I've seen a couple of videos recently about these bags/saddles. And have a bag to support your gear is nothing new. Someone has just thought 'hey lets define this and market the idea'. But it is 'just a bag'. OK there are some design features targeted at making it more user friendly for this specific purpose but nothing you couldn't do yourself. This particular bag is £249 in most places and if you've got deep pockets or 'like buying a matt box' (joke) you just want to look bad-ass, get one. But it is just an expensive bag. You want to make one yourself? Go buy a guitar strap with the extra wide shoulder pad. Buy some buckles off Amazon, buy a large bag of foam balls and grab a cheap duffle bag off Amazon. And for less than I would say £30 you can have a bag that gets you 99% of the way there.
You’re a genius!! I’ve been thinking to use this mobile version for my short films instead of breaking the bank and buying the desktop version! I didn’t think about using it for photos!
Mid 49 cage rocks, if I have more than enough money! I am pretty much sure Smallrig will knock this one off at a fraction of the cost. So patience is my virtue. Tilta has its version now as well as 8sinn...
Can't believe no-ones made extra cable protection for the piss weak 2 pin power plug to d tap cable , USB and hdmi gets it but nothing for the power .....
@@BowenMoreno the DJI website itself didn't list BMCC6K on supported cameras for RS3 / 3 Pro, have you tried run/stop recording with the cables by any chance? been running around the internet and forums to confirm but have found 0 confirmation about this, lol
What's inside? If you air travel, .. does it take up that space and weight? (I assume yes.. and that this is more of a solution to use when you access your shooting location y car? )
So the ronin RS 3 is a good gimbal for the new FF BM? Just purchased one and couldn’t find a whole lot of gimbals for the new FF. The only lens I have right now is the Meike 50mm T2.1, full tilta cage for FF, small rig mini matte box and follow focus. Thx
Did you go with the medium or large? I'm considering one for my Komodo rig. I don't have too much shit hanging off of it, so I'm thinking the medium might work for me. What do you think?
I have this exact same rig except for lidar and im using 6K Pro. BIGGEST downside is the ring grip drains any vmounts or battery handle even when powered off, such a disappointing downside.
Isn’t there a way to just turn it off lol? Not that big of a hassle between shoots. The 6k pro drains the motor if you don’t balance and add counter balances correctly
Nice video. Please explain the monitor extention arm. I don't see it in the description. You said something like you got it for diving undereater house??? Thank you
I have a set of 6 zeiss cp2 (ef) and I really wanted to upgrade to the full frame but Im having a hard time to use variable nd filters with it. the lens are 114mm front. do you know if I can find a L mout to Ef converter with drop in nd filters?
Great question. The Nisi Athena’s seem to not work well with the Mofage Poco. It doesn’t clear the filter so you won’t be able to mount the lens. However, it’s working here with the Hot Rod Cameras L to PL adapter.
@@BowenMoreno this is encouraging. I’m doing the contax Zeiss route, and after EF mount conversions with that EF to L Rear ND it would be great to add autofocus. I love this setup, thinking of doing something similar with my lumix s5ii
@@CartyCantDancetry the pd movie lidar, much more compact and works w no gimbal ( and you dont have to buy the dji cable hub amd still use a gimbal to calibrate it )
so far so good! I think the only thing lacking is the quality of the panel itself. The wireless tech is great though. It's not quite smallhd quality yet in terms of picture.
I am wondering why in the world would I spend $700 on a half cage when I can fish out similar rigging parts for around $400 for the 6K FF build and still have the option to slide out the camera with just the cage to mount on a gimbal very easily. Perhaps for some folks this build makes sense, I can't justify it yet.
I totally get where you are coming from. This video is completely focused on the most premium parts, it is definitely not "budget" conscious! I wanted to focus on gear that I might bring on to a commercial set.
@@BowenMoreno I understand this setup is probably a great fit for your needs. For me it makes doesn't make sense to spend nearly a $1k on a half cage for a $2500 camera! My response wasn't "budget" centric at all. I meant for the money it takes to build this half cage rig, it is possible not only build a full cage rig (with parts from different manufacturers for less) with all the components listed on your video it's also possible to channel the remaining budget on other accessories. Camera rigging solution is competitive industry so I guess it's all about strategizing on choices. Never had my build fail on me in commercial sets over the past couple of years.
