When the guest is explaining, it would be great if you can stay quiet so we can actually understand him vs talking over him or unnecessary confirmation “yeah” or “hmm” etc. Otherwise, it was a helpful video.

Great interview. Good questions! Also, this guy is able to simplify what his product does for regular people even though he could blow up our brains with overwhelming information if he wasn't careful! The only bad thing about this is it's overwhelmingly clear I need Bass Control to tame the 4 very different subwoofers in my room. Oh well, it's just money, you only live once!

Nice coverage and walk through of using Dirac Live Room Correction and the differences between Bass Management and Bass Control. That said, Dirac ART will be a game changer for dry bass and spatial audio sound staging, and possibly expanding excellent sound into more environments than pure rectangular rooms. All other technologies that Dirac has presented so far have had close competitors both for cross overs, multiple sub management, aligning speakers, frequency correction etc. In addition there are technologies that have aspired to limit excess phase created by the room reflections. My understanding of the potential residing in Dirac Live ART's sound field MIMO technology really looks like it'll provide a game changer in creating an anechoic room in the bass region, judging from waterfall diagrams. The closest to ART so far would be using a DBA and any program limiting excess phase in addition. Part of the difference will be that ART won't require a rectangular room with carefully placed speakers on the front and back walls, opening up for more application environments. In addition it may be able to preserve more of the Side channels, and not requiring to take mono so high up in the frequency range. All they need to do now is present the studio VST-version, too.

DL BC multisubs is expensive but never heard the Marantz Cinema playing that nice with 7.4.4 ❤ the 4 subs really sound great 👍👏

My subs are pretty much same Position in room(mid wall) dirac sets one to -1,5dB ,the other -4,5dB.

I did not get,that bass Management came for free with new Firmware 😅..but i anyway i would have bought bass Control.

Great video thanks! The bass-topic is really confusing and the manuals don't give much info. Without enough information you simply cannot get the best out of the system.

I cannot use a dirac app, where i can change Crossover.Only got pc Software Version 3.8.2 Only Crossover from 70hz upward i can change.

I was so excited to upgrade my Marantz to the new Cinema 30 so I could get Dirac Live....installed the unit, went to the site and paid the top fee for the works and now nothing but crickets......and no way to contact them. The money has cleared my bank but I have not license code. Emailed the help desk 3 days ago and nothing. Does anyone have a contact number for these folks? I really want to get this going. It was quite an investment for it to be useless at this point. HELP!

Can i have two configuration on my Marantz Cinema 50: one for 5.2.4 and one for 2.0? So i can switch Without loading Filters again?

Hi, and many thanx for taking the time to set up and stream this very helpful video. Mathias is a very knowledgeable and pedagogical person it seems, and he managed to clarify many points about the integration of those three ”modules ” in the app. We have you to thank for giving him the opportunity to do so! I do have one question though, if I may: In bass management or bass control, with multiple subs (2 in my case), we do see the measured response from each unit, but the corrected graph shows only sub 1. No way to select sub 2 to see its spectrum. I gather the graph shows a common corrected spectrum’ but I wonder why we cannot see individual frequency corrections before the sum-up? From what I know of the Dirac correction system, I was under the impression that it does indeed correct the frequency response individually (same as audyssey) then together. What am I missing here? Edit: let me also make clear that I do have the multisub licence, not the single sub one

Hi have you forgot to ask my question in live stream? About DLBC smoothing out the crossover region?

One question still remains, after trying out the already implemented Bass Control in my Denon... the crossover frequencies can still be set manually in the Denon. Do I set all speakers to large (full spectrum) and then set the crossovers in Bass Control or is the manual setting ignored when a Dirac-Filter is activated?

Is it normal that after calculation Bass Control Filters,the target curve changes from Dirac live before? Do i have to load desired target curves after Bass Control filter calculation again?

the update cost from dirac live to dlbc should be about 100 dollars not 350, thats why i wont buy it
