hello... a question! Did you just change the capsule for a red 2M? Or do you advise changing the pre-assembled capsule in SH-4??? Have you tried Audio-Technica AT-VM95E and Audio-Technica VM540 any feedback?

@@fabiocosta6178 no personally i will stay with your setup and think to un upgrade only if you would like to change the soundbar with a stereo system, otherwise just enjoy it and have fun!
@@MadAudiofficial As this soundbar has a specific function to switch from surround to stereo I thought it could win an ifi zen. Will I have the same quality whether via cable or wifi (misiccast)? but the cartridge gains by changing to a red 2M right?
I love my Heresy IV speakers! Use them with an 8 watt tube amp. I also have a 75 watt solid state Marantz. The speaker shows off the difference between amps and both sound great, just different. My wife loves how they look too. I will probably own them forever. Thanks for a great review!
I've been using the 606S3 with the audiolab 7000a for the past two months and find it a great combination, but I think it also matters what kind of music you are playing (low end mp3's and very compressed music don't sound so great on this pairing, such as modern pop). It's forced me to go back and re-encode (or purchase CD's for mp3's I acquired over the years). Of course, everyone's ears are different. :)
You will be impressed how amazing they are for the money, no direct comparison with Oberon on wall but we are in the same level IMO! What i like is that they are natural and really well balanced, also the bass level that is coming out is really good also without sub. Just let me know if have chance to test them👍🏽

I have a few questions to ask you, the first being this: - I am looking for a Comfortable audiophile headset to obviously listen to music but also play video games and watch films. a sort of all-purpose headphone. I would like this headset to have a particularly great soundstage. for music, I want headphones ALSO suitable for HIP HOP and other electronic music. So a headset with bass (the Sennheiser HD 800s is a priori disqualified since its bass around 20/60hz is quite weak and is therefore suitable for classical music, if I understood correctly...), but not too much...ihad the beyerdynamic DT1990pro and, the balanced pads were too exhausting in the long run. The analytical pads lacked bass. I forgot to specify that this headset will be connected to a...PC. Is this a crime? do I have to invest in a DAc (because high-end PCs allow you to drive high impedance headphones, up to 600 ohms) -2nd question: What do you think of plannair headphones like Hifiman? last question: What do you think is the ultimate headset? The headset that personally makes you VIBRATE the most? I would love to know your opinion!
I listened to these...... funny enough didn't really care for them. I preferred the sound from the Kanta No. 3. Theu sounded just for more lively to me. Just IMO

Good review. Thank you. And you have a new subscriber here. Am I correct in interpreting your review, is that, if you have a Zen 2 there is no need to upgrade unless going to a MC cartridge? I have Zen 2 with Rega Planar 3 with the Exact MM cartridge, is there any benefit going to the Zen 3?
Thank you, a better versatility with MC cartridge is probably the bigger benefit, overall ZEN 3 will bring more transparency, details and imaging if this is what you are looking for. In my case with Argon Audio TT4 and 2M BLUE i was fine with ZEN 2 smoothness. It is subjective, hope this helps.
@@MadAudiofficial I find that whilst really detailed speakers sound engaging on first listen, over the long term I lose interest in their tone and timbre. I also find that more revealing sounding designs tend to work good with a narrower swathe of musical genres, they can sound thinner with orchestral music for example.
@@paulmastermann2200 P300 is the one that overall gives me more satisfaction, probably cause is working really well at low volumes, in this track in particular my take is between Sonus and SVS, still analysing SVS so you will have to wait my review. But is coming soon🤞🏾

A video i think you could do is on different pricing on audio/ hi-fi brands. Some brands have similar pricing for example in us and eu. Some are cheaper in eu, some cheaper in us. (some cost around the same price too) I as an ue resident have learned that a lot of european brands are better value solely because they are a lot cheaper here than for example us brands where i automatically pay more than an us customer.

Yo tengo el Elac Miracord 50HII de 1975 de mi padre que también hace esa función de cambiar discos con el espárrago largo y también vuelve a reproducir dando la vuelta al espárrago corto. Estos giradiscos Elac son una joya del audio vintage, estaban hechos para ganar clientes con calidad, belleza y practicidad algo que hoy ya no se estila. Saludos desde España. Pedro.
Nice review once again, but I would appreciate your help since you reviewed the Triangle Bro 3 which I have and they sound very very good in my room. So the bro 3's sale for 550 euros in Greece, and the 606 s3 about 1100 euros. You think that purchasing the 606 would be an upgrade? I know you said that the level is higher in the beginning of your review, but i am a little concerned because i understood from your review that the 606 are difficult to setup. So out of the box you think that getting them I will feel the upgrade in sound? Also with the bro 3's there is no need of a subwoofer in my room, but the 606's on paper won't go as low as the Triangle's, do you think I will need a sub? Thank you in advance!
@@MadAudiofficial thank you for the reply, unfortunately all the sellers in Greece don't have the oak version. They told me that i have to wait until mid August. So now either i have to wait or go with the second option the Monitor audio silver 100 7g which is available more expensive and maybe ever better than the 606. Either way i will give you my feedback if and when i decide what to do...Thanks again, and if you have any input about monitor audio you are welcome to give me your opinion. Thanks again 👍

i have Audiolab 7000a, Technics SL1210GR(with AT-VM540ML) and Dali Oberon 5 speakers. Currently using the built in Phono spage in the 7000a. would you expect the Zen 3 to provide me a better sound if I use this instead of the built in 7000a? thanks
I spoke about it in my 7000a review, even the original ZEN Phono is far superior to the integrated 7000a phone stage! Just let me know if you have the chance to test it, absolutely worth to try out👍🏽
@@MadAudiofficial iniatial impressions using the Zen3 (on a well known vinyl) are very good. I beleive I am picking up new details. Immediate improvement in silent areas (I had some pickup noise before). So looks like a definate keeper :) - not tried the subsonic filter yet, not 100% sure on it's use tbh.

One thing that didn't get mentioned is the Lossless audio. The Beats lossless for some reason wound amazing. All the congestion goes away some how. PX7s bring the overall volume waaay down. Beats for lossless and px7 for Bluetooth for me. Haven't tried the Sens
