I know many of you hear "boomy" bass. This is because of the inbuilt EQ of the iPhone. I have other videos recorded via Shure MV88 mic.

Best part of it is the rim shots and you can tell that it is a Strat. Obviously lots of flaws and colorations, especially the hollowness but there's a nice dynamic ease that makes it musical and soulful.

one of the best DIY projects i've seen . AWESOME all around system... the only thing i would change is to have the speakers on Spikes. i think they'll look much sharper. you have some great talent. KUDOS.

Bought a vintage 1978-79 speakers on Flea Bay. DLK Modular 1's. Made in America. Good Country. These people made speakers back in the day for an experience in sound every time you listened. Only in business 7 or 8 years. DLK came from Acoustic Research the makers of AR Speakers. I think i heard.

If there is a badge "KEF" a price would be 20k. Now I know how to determine a linear phase, and I like Yan's builds even more (the only a tweeter makes something different, but I'm not sure via iphone-youtube).

Very good listening of this system, the first octaves are deep, ample and gives an excellent base to the high medium! I'm not a big fan of closed loads, I find that the impact in the bass is always a bit mushy, it lacks punch, it's a pity that the choice of this Dire Street track doesn't allow you to have a very good idea of the impact and dynamics of a bass drum hit or a drum tom drop! The choice of a boomer with a half-roller rubber suspension and offering a large travel is excellent for a closed load, whereas a small pleated suspension of the accordion type, would have given a much drier bass and a much more distant infra-bass, especially at less than a dozen watts! The midrange is very nice and it would have been surprising if the opposite had been true, as I thought I recognized a Fostex full range! The treble is soft and defined, true to the quality of the ribbon tweeters! The idea of the separate cabinets is very good, I don't know if they are decoupled from each other's vibrations for example, by a thick synthetic rubber sole of type sbr or nbr of 3 to 5mm, which would have been a plus! The phasing of the drivers seems good with their planes offset from their moving parts, but I think that the cubic shape of the midrange box is not adapted to the directionality of the tweeter and this must create an edge effect, a midrange box with a cut-off at an angle or a tweeter placed higher than the midrange and fixed on a tube would have been a good solution! The sound recording is really very good, I do not know the technology of the amplification, certainly a class A/B Mossfet, one recognizes transistors TO3, linear toric power supplies... It would have been nice to put more technical info on your system and on the source used! Worthy realization and being able to compete with very expensive ambitious audio systems, congratulations from France

объемный и детальный звук. и это слышу на своих Кометах 25ас-225 с доработанным 25гдн (расширен диапазон частот) , пищалкой sc10n и измененным фильтром с полной проклейкой корпусов. усилитель - микросхема на мосфетах РА2030 от пионер, встроен в ПК, звуковая карта X-Fi . Этот конфиг чисто как звук для компа, т.е включил комп и он со звуком, без лишних движений. для музона отдельный конфиг.
