Awesome video, observation is that the additional weight of the motors doesn't offset the additional power that it brings, so there is actually an optimal power-to-weight ratio and after that the power saturates to push the weight of the car.

What an interesting idea. Dual motor driving is even very common in EV industry but quadruple motors are yet. It’s not just about the cost but the uniformity control. If you bring a control system into your machine, it might be the solution without weight expansion. PCB in the mini 4wd is too much idea?
There we go again, so many things to consider, not just torque, but also total weight, down force, wheel grip, etc... Wish we can discuss thin in detail..
If you want more torque, replace the motor windings with thicker silver wire. It has lower resistance than copper. Two of these motors might outperform four copper winding motors. One front motor, one rear motor, four 3.7 volt batteries.
I think a Tri-motors like Tesla Roadster setup would be better? Quad motors might be too heavy actually. Even dual motor might actually yield a better result?
