There seem to be a lot of advantages to setting up you base/home at the Sawmill. Including ability to build productions on the cleared areas of land, nice and close for delivery of planks etc.

I prefer farming, but I certainly can't complain about the amount of content included. In general I would like to see production being available to use for a fee as an option rather than outright purchase. That way if you have excessproduct from a contract you can improve it without buying a factory. As you've suggested in the past an overhaul of the animal husbandry is an overdue improvement. Not mucking out the animal pens feels like a step backwards. Lease to own , GPS and manual attach as base game are all a step forwards. Make them a switchable option if there is a concern about casual players. I play on console and pc depending on which platform my family isn't using, and lease to own, GPS, manual attach, better contracts and the improved manure mods are the only pc mods I miss on console. Love the content, and I'm happy to see the return of your other series. Ps: Please add an unowned but useable fork lift at the shop base game

As to the Silver Run DLC. I purchased it, but now I kind of wish I hadn't. I guess I was hoping for some farming content in addition to the forestry. I don't care for forestry, and I don't care about productions, but It is a beautiful map, so maybe I will give it a play someday, but not until I am tired of farming. After all, this is called Farming Simulator not Lumberjack Simulator. Your videos are great. Please keep em coming.

So great feedback here, thank you! have you tried approaching the map from a Homesteading angle? There lots of areas where you could remove the trees and create fields to farm instead. Might help you get more out of the map.

@@VirtualFarmer I agree. You can lease the $750,000 forestry machine to mangle forrest rapidly, Get a bobcat with stump grinder, rock breaker and bucket to clear rocks and stumps. Then grab a tractor and plow to make your own fields. Its awesome fun. Ive converted 2-3 of the "fields" you can buy to farmland so far

What happens if you do not de-limb the trees before putting them in the water? Price reduction? Why cut them to 6ft? could the whole tree go in the water? Only asking to learn. Not saying the process you used is wrong. I have on occasion had trees get on/off the trailer with a few limbs remaining. Didn't seem to make a difference to the lumberyard. Really, really enjoying this series. Thanks.

I cut them to 6ft just to make them easier to handle and so that I could get some practise in doing it. Same really for the de-liming. I'm not sure that make much difference going into my own saw mill. The trees will be worth less money if you sell them without delimbing them first though.

I positively love this map. I actually didn't own the game until I saw your content on Silverrun and I just cant stop playing it. I love the inbuilt missions much better then just the contracts. Thank you for introducing me to this!

productions are good but wish there was more to do with themlike once the coasters done it seems most productions are almost useless and would be good to have a option to place another sawmill to get more long planks etc

Do you play FS22 on maxed out settings and how is your performance? I currently have a RTX 3060, Ryzen 5 5600X and 16GB Ram but sometimes I only have 40 FPS is that normal?

My settings are custom based on very high. I'm TAA and have reflective beacons turned off. My card is a RTX 2070. Do you have the same issue with no mods active? If so it's might be an issue with one of those or the number you are using.
