These are some of the most useful videos for intermediate Spanish learners. Especially the extra explanations at 0:54 which explains why certain sentence structures are used.

Wow!! This is one of the main topics I was willing to learn! Thank you sooooo much! Estoy comprendiendo los objetos directos en espanol! Estoy los comprendiendo como nunca antes visto. Estoy comprendiéndolos casi como un nativo de la lengua! Gracias!

Larissa Iris Awesome, I’m happy to help! Only one correction “Los estoy comprendiendo”, remember the pronoun goes either before the conjugated verb (estoy) or attached to the gerund form as you did in the last sentence (estoy comprendiéndolos) 🙂

I commented on your video about six keys to studying Spanish that I wanted to see a video just like this one. And then I found it. This is exactly what I am struggling to learn right now. I flunked the quiz the first time I watched. The topic is hard to understand and that is not your fault. The word order in English and Spanish are different so us native English speakers need to just practice. I will watch this video many times until I master the topic.

Eric Baugher I just replied to your comment on that video, and there you go. I’m happy you found it. It’s a tricky topic indeed, but it’s just a matter of practice and time. Keep it up, and let me know if you have further questions 😉😉

Thank you for this! I was just confused on the translating "You have to solve the problem". How come it is "Lo tienes" instead of "La tienes"?
@SpeakSpanishWithPaula
@SpeakSpanishWithPaula 4 года назад
Anne Marie Larsen Hi 👋🏻 because even though “problema” ends in “a” is masculine, so, el problema, that’s why “Lo” it’s the direct object pronoun. 😉

Hi! I have been watching your yt videos for the double object pronouns and I understood so much! I was wondering if you could help me figure out this question by using the most pronouns possible? ¿Tus padres no permitian ir a casa de los vecinos a tu hermanito de noche? And ¿Tu abuelo siempre daba a tu hermana monedas para su colección? I have been struggling all day with them and was hoping you had answer!

you made this topic look so easy with your clear explanation thanks a lot just one thing once i heard: se lo diré with the meaning of i will tell her but i didn't get the structure of this sentence could you explain it to me please

Abd Rahman Thank you 😊 If you haven’t watch my videos about indirect object pronouns and the one in which I mix the two together (direct and indirect), I’m inviting you to take a look, there I explain the use of “se” in combination with “lo”. Basically “se” in that sentence replaces the indirect object pronoun “le” for “her”, but you also have “lo” as a direct object pronoun, and in those case we can’t say “le lo”, so “le” becomes “se”, and finally we say “se lo”.

Hello Paula from Kurdistan. is it different between your Spanish with Spain? Thanks
@SpeakSpanishWithPaula
@SpeakSpanishWithPaula 4 года назад
Nushar The difference is in the accent, some idiomatic expressions and the use of the personal pronoun “vosotros” (in Latin America is not that common), but the grammar rules are exactly the same. 😉

Request: Third person direct object pronouns VS definite articles. I am just starting to realize that 75% of all third person direct object pronouns are also definite articles. Basically we are talking about different ways to say "the". The = el, la, las and los. Only one of these "the words" is not also an direct object pronoun. This is "el" which changes over to "lo". I have never seen this explained very well in a youtube video.
