Există o diferență uriașă între cei ce sunt în top acum și Dimash. Cei pe care i-ai specificat tu. Sunt trupe, sunt grupuri, sunt mai mulți și sunt peste tot pe scenă și absorb atenția publicului la maxim. E foarte bine, sunt buni. Apoi vine Dimash, singur. Uneori are dansatori lângă el sau instrumente sau jocuri de lumini. Alteori e singur cu un pian sau o dombră și e absolut suficient. Toată lumea își ține respirația și e în povestea lui. Un singur om, mii de voci. Toată lumea e vrăjită și așteaptă neprevăzutul, se știe clar că Dimash modifică melodiile cumva, cât de puțin. De asta e și greu de ținut pasul cu el, nu are doar un SOS, ci zeci, nu are doar un Durdaraz, ci zeci. Fiecare performanță e acel ceva vechi transformat în ceva nou. Un singur om pe scenă ține captive atâtea suflete, poate asta e diferența majoră față de ceilalți, oricare ar fi. Throughout his performances, he simply takes the piano with all its 88 keys, deftly takes out from his magical toolbox a perfect ear for music, perfect breath control and a large lung capacity and rolls his flawless sounds up and down the entire respiratory tract. This was especially for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. That year they were honoring Koji Tamaki the composer of this song. Other performers had sung this song for him but not in Japanese. Dimash was the only one to sing it in Japanese. Tamaki thought that it was special. Dimash usually sings it in Chinese. Remember Dimash only speaks Kazakh and Russian and he’s been doing pretty good in English these days. When he does a concert in another country, he tries hard to sing a song in their language. He can sing in many languages but that’s only phonetically. Dimash is a special young man! Many people try to put him in a box but as soon as you close the lid, Dimash comes busting out of the box. He loves music, all kinds of music and he’s still trying to learn as many genres that he can. 😊

And don't forget; with Dimash having micro-oversight of every element of his work before it's released - Henry might BE Dimash!! 🙃😂🙃🤣 Actually, some of 'Henry's' wide shots are useful. Not only can we observe how Dimash centres and grounds himself for those belting high notes, but also the way he opens his arms and moves his shoulders back as he engages his diaphragm. { for Voice Nerds this is interesting ). His skilled movement around the microphone is yet another form of Master Class, as he plays with letting it enhance his crescendo's and diminuendo's. So great. A thing of beauty isn't it. Dimash is a true master of his instrument. Although, if you ask him he will say he's 'still learning'!😵‍💫 👍

I want to join in! 😊 The manner in which he sings this is phenomenal; this is one of the things people are referring to when they talk about his control. His management of his sound is superior. I love his transition from the high "ahhs" in the middle to that full chest lower register again. Seamless. Димаш с душой показывает все эмоции. Не понимая языка, понимаешь суть переживаний. Такой талант, гений. У Димаша нет простых без историей, смыслом, песни. Really nice reaction. I actually love the changes in camera angle. As a singer myself I love to see his face and watch his mouth as it helps me see his mouth aperture. It helps identify which part of his resonance chamber he’s singing from. That’s just me.

You asked about languages he speaks. I believe he speaks Russian, Kazakh and English. He sings in many languages. He will learn a song in another language (in about a week), try to nail down the pronunciation, and then perform it. I have heard him sing in Russian, Kazakh, French, English, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, Italian and Armenian. Has probably sang in more. For example, for his more recent concert in Armenia, he learned one of their traditional folk songs and performed it wonderfully. You could tell it meant so much to the audience. And the emotion always come through no matter what language he is singing. I only know English, Spanish and a little French, and I feel them all. When I hear his The Story of One Sky in English, Ikanaide in Japanese, Autumn Strong in Mandarin, or Love Is Like A Dream in Russian, I shed tears every time.
