IU fandom name : Uaena. IU/Lee Ji-eun is a South Korean actress, singer, songwriter and record producer. She debuted in 2008 with her 1st EP or 1st Album "Lost and Found". IU is called "Nation's Little Sister". I love her music so much. She is one of my favorite solo artists. She is such a beauty ! I really adore her. She is THE BEST.

She's one of the most versatile Kpop singer, writer, and composer. I love the lyrics too, such a sassy way to make haters shut up. 😅

Am I the only one who noticed the clothes on the ground when the dancers are flying and connected it to the pile of clothes in Love Wins All? I read it as the confirmation that the characters in that video are actually flying free ❤️

Hello wow! I was amazed, I discovered her a short time ago, thanks to her collaborations and programs with BTS, and I love her voice, her personality. I like what she does, I like her style, I loved this song, it has a very catchy rhythm and the MV is very creative and original, being "simple" at the same time, I like IU, YES🫰🏼🎶🫶🏼

Here is my take on the video. There have been a lot of people, in Korea particularly, who say & have been saying, that IU doesn't need to prove herself by going to the US or Europe. It seems as if she is talking to directly to someone, and telling then her plans and to not worry about her, she has this. The opening scene of the figure floating is IU as she is coming to LA. The disruption the we see her on the ground looking across at LA. She has used this type of device before. Specially in Above the Time and Blueming (those 2 videos along with You & I as Pt1 and. Strawberry Moon as the final part make up a trilogy +1 story concerning a decade) so show a disruption in the Time/Space/Dimension continuum. She spreading herself like Dandylion spores on the wind. She isn't going to settle on smooth ground (i.e. taking the easy way). She says she is a single spore (a soloist). On a different road. Fly high to bloom. (To reach her full potential) If any asks how I'm doing Send them the news "She has become a spore" (she has taken to the wind, flying without wings where she lands nobody knows, meaning how will things turn out no body knows). Follow me, gonna go and win (she will succeed on this different road). Follow me, even without wings (on social media etc she will be visible ) I'll fly in the center for everyone to see (like her last 4 indoor concerts in the round, she wont shy away and hide) The sky above is blinding. But I'm not afraid of heights at all. (She is not afraid of the risk she is taking. A risk many others, have advised her against taking.) I'll fly so close to the scorching sun (she will push the risk factor in order to succeed. ) But she will sit on a cloud (and enjoy the show) And she might cause a little ruckus while she's at it just for fun. (meaning watch out, expect the unexpected) The road ahead won't be easy. (She knows the risk and how difficult it will be) But I won't fuss about it (she won't complain or make excuses) This was my choice, it always has been (no one pressured her or said to truely make it you have to make it in the US. It's her choice and always has been. Whatever happens it's on her no one else). The odds of it being easy are zero (acknowledging she is fully aware of what she is embarking on) Wish you all good luck. I'll even say goodbye (this sounds too much like her lyric in Eight where she is angry that her friends just come and go as they please without even saying good bye. But she is saying goodbye, possibly saying she isn't committing career suicide like her 3 friends actually committedsuicidewithout saying good bye.) May God be with ya See, (she said goodbye) see ya Tweety pie reference is definitely important and significant. I'll admit I am still a little confused by it, but here it goes anyway. Tweety is caged and only leaves the cage and takes flight to escape Sylvester always returning to the safety of the cage. Could it be IU's way of saying that she is leaving the cage and it's risky to do so but sometimes in order to survive (escape Sylvester the cage can become a trap and leaving it is required to survive but never leaving it permanently) you leave. But the safety of the cage is always there and Tweety always returns to it. By filming this in the US with American dancers and American neighborhood etc, she is establishing a connection with her western audience. The ending credit scene where the IU HOLSSI kite/balloon is behind the powerless gives the image that it is still in a cage and safe. It is also interesting that the child looking out at the other kids dancing with IU, and appears to be interested but also a little nervous appears to be of Asian descent. (Meaning could be the child in IU that is still a little nervous or when she was younger the thought of doing what she is now doing was scary or that she is acknowledging those in Korea who worry about her) the worrying about her however extents to all her fans around the world. At the end she allows the cartoonish IU go as the real IU, who is no longer wearing the Dandylion outfit of the ballon/kite gets ready to head out on her different road. Checkout her song Blackout. It is similar in beat. But it would be hard to peg her to one genre. She really doesn't fit into the definition of Kpop, since 2014 when she took control of her music, except she is Korean. Her music runs the gamut from Pop, Jazz, R&B, Korean hop pop, Rock, Korean Folk (in fact 2 of my favorite songs are her covers (With a Determined Heart to Forget You & Meaning of You) of two famous Korean Folk singers.

First I learned to admire her as an actress, after watching Hotel del Luna (tv show). Then I heard JK has a crush on her and that she had a collab with Suga (Eight) 😊. When I watched IU's Palette with J-Hope... well, resuming: she's not just an excellent actress, has an awesome voice (that even if is high doesn't hurt my ears , I'd say it's exactly the opposite! Her voice is so smooth that touches my soul), but it seems she's incredibily humble and sympathetic.

I love that IU uses different races in her video. IU will be taking the stage on July 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey to kick off her 2024 North American tour. Ending in LA, California in August.

If you notice she talks about becoming a spore (dandelion), but except for the first scene when she explodes, everyone else flies but she stays on the ground - until her avatar (the giant kid) is in the sky.

for something like this, mostly are like her b-sides. I know, underrated right?? Holssi is like a mix of everything; melody, beat and lyrically(her's). though, the rap part is the second time she did for her song.
