It's actual Kirk lore, you see his armor has thorns and you were getting stuck in the Crustacean's plating, he doesn't get out much due to his armor.

Yeah, seriously. I'm so glad they're super rare - I don't even feel like they're challenging enemies to fight, they're just bullshit. Hard to stagger, cause almost-instagib on line of sight and if you can't stagger them with a heavy weapon or mess up your first parry, you're dead. No idea how anyone thought this was a good idea. (I may or may not be salty about them. *ahem*)

I have tried so hard to record PVP footage for DS3, I really have, but I just don't have the patience to invade. :( Plus DS3's weapons just aren't as sexy as Bloodborne's. Not saying I won't do it ever - I want to do something cool for DS3 too - but I might have to wait till after the DLC drops.

y'know, I get what you were saying. The comedy isn't as ripe here as BB; but I think the pacing and narration still works, even if it isn't necessarily as "funny". Strangely enough, the slight shift away from pure comedy actually makes the more comedic parts funnier to me. Blerdberne was such a laugh assault at times it felt a little homogenized. And yes, I totally left a serious comment. 1v1 me, bro!

In hindsight, it wasn't fair for me to say DS3 doesn't have as much comedic potential. I think Bloodborne is just the kind of game that my sense of humor works well against. That, and Blerdberne was my first time making something like it so I had 23 years worth of jokes I wanted to make. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Dirk Sols, and I'm glad you're enjoying it as something distinct from Blerdberne.

+Freke Out I think BB wins out for having more distinct things to react to. Even as a Souls vet. This serious feels like an old warrior's return. The surprises geeted with more a raised eyebrow than true glee. I'm definitely enjoying it as its own beast
