Stock gearing. I bounce between 1st and 2nd a lot. If I made any changes I consider going a tooth or two larger in the rear but I’m pretty happy right where it’s at.
My opinion, the XC is a better bike. If you want it to do slower stuff better, quick gearing adjustment is all that’s needed. But the valving in the forks, the engine compression and mapping, linkage rear shock all make the XC a better for the riding I do. Both are great bikes but the XC was definitely the right choice for me. Have fun and thanks for watching!
