I have ran nitro in the clever cap follow the break in procedure and I have thrashed it mercilessly and both were the same and lasted for about the same amount of time and as manufacturer's have so many diiferent procedure's who know's, as you said do it your way. Remove the rear spare wheel or raise the rear ride height to compensate for the spare wheel weight and where mounted.

Grrrr so hard to find anything in nitro.. Keep finding everything the same but electric!!!

Hi kev, I've noticed when you describe your cars that you say they have Double wishbone suspension when they only have one wishbone at the bottom of the hub and one control rod at the top of the hub. Double wishbone is as you say where it has two wishbones, one at the bottom of the hub and one at the top 🤪👍🏻 just a nit pick nothing major 👌🏻 great vids though kev, keep it up 😎👍🏻

Ran nitros for over 15 years, once brushless/lipo started coming down in price I never looked back. The only thing I miss is the sound and the smell. the maintance be damned. but for $250 this is not a bad deal.

I love this car. When you see inside the box it’s amazingly bigger that you would expect and goes soooo fast and love the noise of switching into 2 nd gear. Unfortunately I can no longer switch into second as it is to hard to adjust the gear box.

You could also correct the tail down issue with balancing it better. Move the LIPO for the receiver forward and then the fuel tank. To check balance find the middle and try and balance it at that point.

Don't worry about how they say your fuel mixture should be... You do u brother... And run the engine in how u feel is ok... Side note... Technically on performance engines, for cars and the like. Lean should give u a bit more HP. Like your Monster Truck Engine for example... It's high performance... So it DEFINITELY would have more horsepower and rev quicker, if u put it a bit Lean... But it's not smart. Bad for some engines. Not saying what to do. Just thought maybe u might like to know... If u didn't that is

Guys VRX-RACING is a new company 6 to 7 seven years on the market and makes rc cars up to 1/5 scale and has good cars for the price. I have the vrx spirit buggy and the VRX 2E 1/8 buggy both electric and i must say they are very decent cars and you can find very easily all the parts for the cars and they are cheap. I must say it's worth to try . I don't get paid to promot i just say give it a try because i have experience from this brand. It's a chinise company from scratch but worth a lot.

Kevin. Hello from Tennessee. Was just curious if you have a traxxas jado 3.3 I've not seen you rip one yet. If you don't you should definitely put Traxxas's tall claim of the jado 3.3 being the fastest out of the box nitro on the market today.

This is not the cheapest nitro RC, the redcat volcano us only $150 USD new. I had one, it worked great. It's crazy how little money you can spend to get something actually decent.

Trouble is with the cheapo manufacturer's they get it wrong Short Course trucks dont have spare wheel's fitted or a co-driver that is what you find on Trophy Truck's, seen so many that way, but hey it is cheap looks good, not the biggest engine but it is cheap lol.

new subscriber! after watching what i think must be nearly all of your vids have at last subscribed! am a returning rc nut to the hobby. am now in my 60`s and disabled with failing health. due to the loss recently of my dear wife of over 32 years, now find myself alone most of the time as my younger ones have all moved on as they do. i have five of witch i lost one a few years ago now in a motorcycle accident at only 18 years and after passing his test only 2 weeks earlier. anyway enough of my issues! i am contacting you due to my many failed attempts to find rc venues in or near chelmsford that i can attend as rc is now my only main passtime. am a member of the local rc flying club but even there, find myself frustratingly restricted as a new flyer and can not even fly anything i own without being literally tethered to another teacher and only one day a week at that! this i only found after it was to late, so obviously have now turned to my crawler, buggy and tank. although have seen endless vids on youtube, still find it very frustrating that none seems to be willing to let on there location, :( can you please, please help? i can still drive, and one day do hope to meet you in person! i know you are a very busy man but would really appreciate a short location list as to where you go for your bashes, trails ect:- and maybe where i can find any upcoming local events. cheers!!! from an old, bold, toothless, grey haired frail old man! Optifuel is not good for nitro enigens I race boats and I have killed 4 motors because it’s not enough lubricant

I have a question. so I have an E-Revo 1.0 and the steering servo is not working do you have any suggestions on what I should get to replace it. also, the servo can only have one screw port on each side due to the design of the chassis.

Hi kev, pvc body probably.. can you get full spares for it though mate? If not I would not buy one or recommend it to any body, I say the same about any ground rc model, if you can't get full spares 100% don't buy them., it's all very well mix and matching parts but sometimes that just don't work out, but if it does use the ftx parts then bonus.. I agree every one have their own run in / break in methods, I quite like the traxxas way to be honest.. What air compressor do you use mate? Happy rcing all.

A easier way I have learnt to get fuel into the engine is I take the line off of the exaust then I stick a syringe with air in the line then I squeeze the syringe and that’s how I prime my engine
