Riley Jones #13R was leading the Winston Speedway 10-14 year mini wedge dirt kart championship when disaster struck. While repairing his bicycle before the race, his ring finger was cut off while tightening his loose wheel. Not wanting to let the points lead slip away, he dusted off his racing suit and strapped into his prototype H&M Chassis mini wedge kart. The team plan was to start the race and pull off after completing one lap to get start points and only lose a few points to 2nd place #51 He had other plans!!! starting on the outside pole he took an early lead and never let off the gas pedal. This kid is tough beyond belief.
