Quick how to on getting started in Dirt Oval Racing at Coopers RC Speedway. The Classes are: B4 Street Stock B4 Late Model 17.5 Late Model 6.5 Breakout Complete Rules can be found at the Coopers Facebook Page here: / files
Man I miss racing at Cooper's. I raced there from 2000 - 2003. I won the 2003 points championship. Just like the B4 class you were talking about same gear ratio etc but you could race any 1/10 short course truck. I won 10 out of 11 races. I ran a XXX Losi Graphite truck. When I started it was a off road track but it was switched back to dirt oval in 2003. I won over 30 trophy's on the off road track. That was my favorite over dirt oval but dirt oval was very fun. I even got to race with Tony Stewart once. He was a bit of a snob 😁😂 Nice vid. It's definitely nice to have help when starting in RC racing. 🔥👍✌️
Thanks for the great explanation. Have been searching the internet looking for setup and chassis info. Great explanation of the difference in classes at Coopers. Ready to get involved. How far is it from Wisconsin to North Carolina anyway?

I am not sure what the price is at Coopers now. You may be able to get Mrs. Pat to respond on the Coopers Facebook Page. They are also racing on the outdoor track now on 2nd and and 4th Saturdays. Check out the Facebook page.

Here is the part number for the rear wheels Manufacturer Stock# DER-BB-LRB This is the rear Street Tracs Manufacturer Stock# 6214 Dont forget the foam inserts! You will have to search around for the Custom Works inserts. Also check the rules page in the description above. Good Luck and I hope to see you at the track in the Fall.
I see that they have posted on the Facebook page that the outdoor track is racing this Saturday. The guy running is called DumpTruck, go by and see him if you have any questions.
I think the 2.2" must be the outside dia. not the actual groove that the tire goes in. The stock numbers above are from the actual order that purchased mine from so I am pretty sure it will work. If you want to be sure you can wait and get them at Coopers when they open in the fall.
