On a side note, if you race cockpit view in ultra-low, you don't get any bothersome raindrops on your windshield or any goofy dirt build-up, therefore there's literally no reason to run the windshield wipers. And also there's no weird reflection shadows on the windshield where there are in the higher settings. You're welcome.
Ultra low is about Reiza's (rfactor, rfactor 2, stock car extreme, automobilista etc) highest setting lol. If Reiza could get with the times on their eye candy they would be my number 1 racing sim developers.
Codemasters always deliver, have been a fan since CMR on the PS1. Its nice the PC community is starting to recognize this game over the years too. Also Candyland are your PCs OC or stock??
I'd pick Medium settings all day long over Max!!!. For me its always fps>>>>>>>>graphics, and to be fair when your actually racing you'd be hard pushed to notice the difference between Medium and Max settings, in some of those comparison scenes it was hard to tell when the games not moving and your concentrating on the differences!! Maybe High settings would be a better balance between fps and graphics!?
+BlockABoots to be fair in the max settings example he was using 8x MSAA which is always going to kill performance no matter the game, at 1080p 2x MSAA is more than enough.

+Yovel efi i own Nvidia card (780ti) but truth be told AMD > nvidia in term of business practice and in term of low, mid, high end cards , nvidia wins the flag ship or highest end of cards though

Something is very wrong here 2x 980;s should get beyond 200+ FPS on ultra in this game, hell my single gtx 970 gets 120+ FPS on ultra, i suppose thats because the game is pretty much perfectly optimized now.
Advanced blending is turned on here, which kills frame rate. It's set to "off" in the standard ultra setting. I've got a 2600K/8GB/HD6950 PC setup and surprisingly DR is perfectly playable at 1280x960 ultra (with shader detail on "low" as I dislike the blur effects), but advanced blending completely massacres my FPS.

No. There is a single option which is not necessary called advanced blending. It kills your fps to half. Disabling it leave you at ultra preset with double fps
+NateDiaz Shakur Multi sample anti aliasing. it's a post processing techniques that gets rid of jagged edges, most jaggies can be found on straight edges that are positioned diagonally, on skyrim table legs up close look like a set of steps lol.
