I'm so glad that more and more of us are talking. Thanks guys for doing this. There's no better therapy than getting on a bike to "Get Lost...Find Yourself" 😜👍🏻 Get Out There and Ride! Cheers!

Nice work fellas! I started the big rides 4 years ago. I too after 27 years in law enforcement find that getting lost on 2 wheels is a great way to reset your mind. Nothing better than being in God's creation with nobody around you!

Paused at just over 40 minutes in... I know I said I would shut up earlier, I didn't expect the video (the 'video', this very personal conversation!) to touch the topic of mental health. You guys're getting me choked up here. Too many times, I'm on that island alone. This is a must watch! Anyhow... If anyone has made it this far in my comment, watching Kyle's videos are what got me to pull the trigger on the GSA. To be clear, I was already focused on the GSA, however seeing Kyle's content, his demeanor, his outlook, his kindness and friendliness just pushed me over the top. After owning the bike for a few days now, here I am listening to these men talk about reality. I didn't really know that the cost of the GSA was going to be minimal compared to what I would personally and mentally experience. And, I'm new to all this. I suppose this bike, this adventure stuff, is literally a vehicle to get there... Hugs and much respect to both of you men! Ron, Yosemite.

It's an experience in itself when you listen to someone put into words exactly how you feel and where you're at in your own life. Thanks for this fellas!! This was an inspiring listen.

Great podcast! This reminds me of my dirt bike experiences. I've been trail riding for 10 years but never on the street. Im looking at getting a dual sport or light adventure bike soon. Thanks for sharing your stories guys!

New subscriber! Love Brian! Funny… I was told by a monk once that there was no way that I’d ever be able to truly meditate… probably because I can’t sit still? From this definition of meditation, it seems I meditate like 50k miles a year ;)

Riding a motorcycle offroad is the most emotionally freeing and satisfying activity that I have ever done. Sitting on top of a ridgeline looking over the valley you just road up! As well the learning involved eg Kyle’s “How to Pack” was the first vid I watched.

I enjoyed the podcast. On the therapeutic level, it seems most folks that are involved in the motorcycles, generally with offroad in mind, seem to be a happier bunch. Thanks for sharing!

At 77 dirt roads, DBR’s is a passion. Too old? Nope stay in shape, focus and reap, the rewards!! Trust me, you young people have the world,to explore. Turn of the news and the politics be happy and ride. My favorite is still your Moose ride. That is what it is about for me. Money and titles, fame ect will do nothing for you in the long run. Experiencing life will!! I started about 20 when I started riding. Left it to chase rabbits got back into it when 71. So there you go! Hope you make another Moose video. Take care. Rusty. PS. Love my Tiger 800. May down size when in my 80’s maybe!!

At 61, I can relate. Never feel but I'll make 70, but then again I didn't think it was going to make 40, 50 (!) and 60...1? I hope I get just a little more time... Thanks for sharing!

Enjoyed the podcast format man! I'd like to possibly do something like this in the future! Lots of cool folks with metric tons of knowledge to share! Good stuff man! I've always said, when you're concentrating on where that front wheel is going and what's around the next bend, the rest of the world disappears! See if you can get Herb Uhl on! Think he lives in Boise and invented the Honda Trail!

Found this quote a few years ago - don't know who said it but they said it well. "Jung called it the Collective Unconscious. Csikszentmihalyi calls it Flow. Anyway you label it, it's awareness. A different, ecstatic, engaged state of being. The difficulties of life - anxiety, conflict, misunderstanding....they all exist while riding. But they take on another connotation. They become clear, and you find you can handle these states, and find your center, because it only means focusing, finding your line, and hopefully staying upright. You fail, and you fall. You can live, or you can die. But somehow it all seems more manageable than failing loved ones, or friends, or clients. So you come home, and you're fresher."

Great content guys! I can relate from growing up punk rock/hardcore/skate to military experience and wondering where I’m @ with my life. It brought a lot of perspective on where I’m at and I’m not the only one in the same rut. Big 2 wheel guy from bikes to motorcycles over my life and wondering what my next step is. Been procrastinating On getting into adventure bikes but this pushes me in the right direction. Look forward to crossing paths in the future.

Awesome man glad you enjoyed it. Just pull the trigger on a motorcycle. Doesn’t matter what it is but obviously I urge you to get a dual sport or adventure bike. Being able to get out and explore just opens up the possibilities. It’s pretty addicting so get ready for that. 😂

Sounds like we have some similarities between us all. I’d encourage you to get out there on a bike and start seeing the world from another amazing perspective. For me it unlocked so many amazing experiences. The people I’ve met, and the places I’ve been so far, leave me feeling extremely grateful to be alive again.. thx for watching.

Paused at 3:53 mins... Okay I will do my best to let this be the last comment, moving forward in this video... I can absolutely relate with the guest speaker here! Absolutely everything he has said so far, is exactly where I'm at, so cool! Anyhow, mouth closed, ears open! Thank you both! Ron, Yosemite.

Paused at almost the first minute in to say... that this is absolutely what I need (Not only the bike, but this conversation, at less than a minute in, lol). While the roads up here where I live, especially the side roads, the paved ones, just beat up the bike and my body to where I get to not wanting to ride. This caused me to look for a road/off-road bike, thus my new GSA. Since owning the bike the last few days, I've ridden a couple hundred miles around here, mostly only on the roads that I dreaded going down on my Triumph Rocket 3. What a pleasure this bike is! I can get back to enjoying riding. The adventure riding is new to me, I've always been a road bike guy. At my age, and I know it's the same with you younger men as well, but my head gets wrapped up tight sometimes, and hopping on my motorcycle helps me unwind a bit, so this GSA is going to allow me, has already allowed me, to get out and clear up my head a bit. It'll be nice finally, to take mostly any road that I'm comfortable with to go see what's out there, off the beaten path as they say. You guys hit the nail on the head within 30 seconds of this video opening up. I get the idea that the cost of the new GSA is going to be minimal, compared to what I'm personally going to get out of it. While I know that there's riding communities out there for any type of bike, I get the idea that this adventure community might be a place that I can belong, even if the thought of knowing that you guys are with me when I'm out on the road alone. Sorry for the long essay, I've never really been good at short comments, lol. I feel that you content creators, or whatever you call yourselves, put so much time in to these videos, so much creativity, that a simple thank you, to me, doesn't seem enough. So, thank you! 🙏 Ron, Yosemite California.
