First time i've seen you guys. great video. My Himalayan 411 would match those bikes on that terrain, just maybe a bit bleddy heavier to pick up. Once I have outgrown the Himmy, the Kove seems to be the next best thing for my needs., which includes trail riding, roadbook rallying and adventure touring
I had one of these and rode in the summer heat in Florida - in the sand. It had an oversized tank just like what you have on it. I had an oil temp dip stick and got the oil temp up to 300. I would not suggest an oversized tank (which limits air flow across the cooling fins) with an air cooled bike in a hot climate. Air cooled engines need to breathe.
I don’t know why everyone pulls apart the XR it’s a great bike for everything, it’s a 650 talk to some flat track racers they will tell you what to do to make it out run everything in its class if that’s what you want but if you want a great all around bike this is it and so reliable too
Hi ..it was a fantastic video .. I wanted to ask a question.. Mine is a 2013 GS 800 adventure with toura tech springs.. I recently bought this bike .. please guide me that does the travel of shock reduces after replacing the stock because the chrome portion looks lesser to me ..thx
Love the effort of providing viewers with multi angle shots of your journey, adventures and activites with great use of 360 camera, placed camera at locations where you would ride pass it and away, the wide aerial view from your drone as well as the engaging drone follow mode shots! Subscribed!
I found 10 compression clicks too harsh for my ride, bike did not soak up fast bumps, felt unbalanced so I opened compression on both ends and closed reobound a bit. I have also x-teme PRO +25mm travel setup.
That was the HARD way to install rear shock :) Installing from top is a piece of cake. Just remove rear mud flap, unbolt both top and bottom shock bolts and you are done.
Hi Nice review of your bike 👍 A little tip that works well for me. I have changed the hose clips on the tank bag out with magnets. It makes getting a sip of water an easy one hand of operation. 👍😁
You are massive and strong built and it is infuriating to see how easily you lift the bike. I am 5"11", 180lbs and tried to lift my 480lbs KLR and couldn't lift it either way.
I throughly enjoyed watching these videos!!! Scenic, vets, beautiful bikes, and camping. What more could anyone ask for? Thanks to those who have served. We are all in your debt 🇺🇸 🫡
Budget friendly?😅. Well, today I went to try to get one at the motorcycle dealership near my house here in San Diego, the original price is $6,000 , but at the bottom line on the paper is $ 15,000! Maybe because my credit rating is only 680 and zero down 😅. So, $260/month for 5 years.
Bro, that giga pump 2.0 is not 10 bucks. Its triple that at 29.99 best I could find. Im building a solo moto camp setup on a budget, do you remember where you found that for 10? My wife and I are needing 3 total. At ten bucks I was sold, but at 30 per were looking at 90…
There are newer versions since I made this video a couple year ago.. They used to be between 9.99 and 12.99 on Amazon. In the last couple years, the new version for some reason now more Sorry.
I see your back to one of your favorite camp sites. I would like that one also. I wonder if that Moose and her baby is still hanging around that lake. Yep I remember that video from a while back. Still one of my favorites. Hope to see more video’s this summer.
Great vid I prefer a lighter bike for those trails. I have a 22 Africa twin for highway dirt roads and my modified crf 300 for the expert stuff. I travel light as the handling is better and easier to pickup works for me you guys are having a great time keep safe watching from New Zealander cheers
