As far as I can tell, the differences are, the T92 hit's hardest between all of them, the CGC can hit tanks that none of the other tier X arty's can because of it's crazy shell arc, the Obj.261 is the most accurate, and has the fastest reload, but doesn't hit as hard, and if I remember has a very flat shell arc, so hilly terrain can screw your shots up, the Bat-chat 155 58 is an auto loader so is a lot more forgiving, it's also the fastest, so you can reposition very easily, and the G.W.E-100 is kind of in between the T92, and the CGC.

The G.W. E 100 has the strongest armor for artillery tank in the game. Also can bounce premium shells much easier.

T92 and CGC hit about the same. The CGC has shorter range, but better flight arc and gun traverse arc to the T92. The GWE-100 is the average arty. It has performance right in the middle of the T92 and Obj261. It's gimmick is better armor (though, wargaming should just give it the full e100 hull armor at this point) and a side skirt to give counter battery protection from near misses. The Obj261 is like you said, fairly mobile, very tight gun traverse arc and fairly flat shell arc. It used to be the king of AP shell flinging back in the day due to that accuracy. However, it also means most of your shells will be hitting enemy tanks in a similar placement to a normal tank gun versus the others that lob to the roof. The BatChat 155-58 is my personal favorite. Full traverse without inciting hull bloom, autoreloader allowing for sequential shots before reload (drum reload takes about as long as a single T92 shell), and the fastest speed allowing for rapid relocation to advantageous spots. It does have the smallest gun so you need to work your location to keep getting side shots on the enemies as frontal hits don't do much of anything. The bat 155 58 also has the most forgiving equipment choices. This is due tot he fact that a rammer can not be installed thanks to the autoreloader. This leaves a third slot of other things like a turbo or some other tools that can't be mounted to the others.

@@killertruth186 While the 155 58 is an enclosed and boxed tank, it can not in fact use vents. For the other open top arty, you generally run camo, rammer, gld. In the 155 58, you can run gld and camo, but the 3rd slot is open to interpretation. Before the equipment update, the only comedic 3rd slot item that I used was binos as there wasn't any other good choices (you can't run vert stab even though it is a turreted vehicle either).

Actually the BC 155 58 and the Obj 261 have the same dispersion at .057. But only if you let them dial completely in! If you shoot early your shell will end up in the next zip code!

As an arty player I really enjoy these comparison videos. However, I would really like to see a like-for-like comparison (ie same map). I find the German and American lines really have a kick but poor accuracy, the French has virtually no splash but when the hit they also hit hard. And for players who bag the crap out of arty, they're the same ones who complain about getting hit from enemy arty, then also complain when their own arty doesn't personally protect just them. Arty is there to help the entire team, not just one player.

You don't have to press that button at the start of every game. Pressing the 'Before Battle' button in Field Modification switches to activation or inactivation. You probably know it, but I'll leave it out just in case.

The most juicy dmg in world of tanks is on console for CGC and T92, the T92 with 2,200 per hit while the CGC at 2,250 per hit with penetration that can one shot or ruin games more efficiently than the Sturmtiger.

Before nerfs I remember the T92 had 2250 damage, while the CGC has 2200. The CGC also had only HE, but it didn't really matter because it can pen roofs very easily because of its high arc. The Tier 8-10 german artys all had 2000 HE damage and 1450 AP damage, the T92 had 1700 AP damage, and all of them had enough module damage to ammorack even mauses with their AP As for the russian and French arty, I don't remember their damage, but I remember the french arty could shoot 4 times with 6 seconds per shot

Conqueror GC is by far the dirtiest arty in WOT. You go to the edge of the map with it to get a steep angle, not go toward the enemy like ure showing. If you do, you can hit enemies behind almost every Rock, they cant hide. Oh, and you always shoot full gold.

I remember before nerf it had 2200 damage and 120 mm pen, less than the 125 of the T92, but because of its steep arc, it could pen all tanks at max range. I believe even Maus could take full damage if they are at range limit. RIP old arties...

With the T92 or ConquerorGC, You can do consistently 500-650 DMG shooting damaging HE.

IF u hit something... Otherwise be happy with 100 dmg as a very close miss, rather 10-20... That is where rekting the arta-class coming forward...Still the most reliable ergo "worth it" shell is the nerfed stun-HE...

Since one cant snipe any more in td's I almost only play arty my fav is the tier 8 lorr. It comes clostest to what the m44 used to be. I think all arties should at least be fast

first match was really lucky, you dont get slow game on this junk map and arty has to reposition to very dangerous position in order to get a shot in this map, 9 times out of 10 you fire 2 shots and you are dead because the flank fell. CGC is crazy, it can shoot everywhere, its a pain in my gw tiger to find the right angle with that mobility...

@@RU-vid_Globetrotter yh lol its reload it's just insane, when it was slapping for 500 easy it was OK but even then the reload was so long it's giga boring to play, I enjoy the German and Russian arty much more but since the patch I don't think I took any out more than couple of times, shame as arty would have a place if they made the maps less corridor

Sadly arty is pretty crap. Not 1 single tier X arty averages 1000 damage per game. They all have 900ish at tier 10. And honestly... that’s bad, because now hull down meta with spam Kranvagens and chieftains etc, good arty would be good. Sad times. Arty should be much better and have a much better and challenging play style. Also limited to 1 per team would be cool

@@Schaddedanzer I still get targeted any time i try to push in a td/ht/mt. Arty literally forces me to camp. Forget using the terrain, i need to hide behind rocks the entire bloody match. Nah they need to really make their players suffer. 1 shell a match. It does 10% the damage it currently does, self destructs the arty, uninstalls the game, doxes the player, wipes the account and charges the bank account of the player a 1000$ fee. I guarantee that there will still be sacks of shit that will play that class because we life in a bloody society. Then i wouldn't mind fighting with that trash tier class.

@@Jules-kp7rw Funny that you mentioned artillery players are lazy. I agree with you that most artillery players are lazy and bad players. The same could be said about hull down heavies that stop moving and thinking once they found their ditch. I usually drive more than 1 Kilometre in my SPG which means that i move about as much as the average heavy player. Artillery is a class that neither is broken nor lazy. Do i think that Stunning is brutally annoying? Yes Do i like it that i can deal 400+ damage on tanks that are virtually invincible otherwise? Heck yes. Do I like to shake the meta by playing only AP on some if my SPGs. HELL YES. But i will never stop it because otherwise the game would go completely stale like the brain of Chieftain Players.

@@Jules-kp7rw Thats exactly what a bad arty player would say. There are usually two opinions on artillery in the game. It is either that they are broken and ha e to be removed or that they are useless and just take a spot in the team. If you look in the competitive direction of World of Tanks you usually see a SPG in every battle except for city maps. The reason for this is because they counter defensive plays and are the best way to force the player to make a move. I would also prefer that only a single artillery per match is allowed but that up to wargaming. And the way they treat the game it is only a matter of time until we get our first Tier 8 Premium artillery that plays like a Lefh.

I have 14K games in arty.... Blackhearts_Reaver on the Asia server. M53/55 is the best artillery pound for pound..... tier for tier. Hard hitting US gun; Enclosed cab for vents; good gun arcs (turret) with good depression and elevation; fast for getaways and relocating for better shots. Also hv chasis for end game speedy rams for another 300-500 damage. I rate it better than some of the tier10s and as good as even the good ones like the 261 (fast firing for CW's), the Conq GC (for gun arc); and T92 for pure damage (but terrible platform). and Dez...... uuuurrrgh use Gun Arc view... sheesh.

Never see allied arty that accurate, mine are not even close to accurate. Can sit there fully aimed on a still target and shell won't even land with 10ft of the target. Even if I or allied arty hit 1/2 time don't even stun and usually doing nothing for dmg, can land 10 or so direct hits but I might get 120-160dmg average if I'm lucky. Meanwhile enemy arties couldn't miss if they tried and are regularly doing 200+ dmg and max stun every hit and just outright crippling tank right off bat. If it's allied even if they manage to hit will be little dmg, enemy team, laser guided tactical nuke. That's rarely ever not the case.
