I watch a lot of YT but this is the most real, enjoyable, uplifting vodeos I've ever watched. I'm 67 retired, sm. Commercial businessman, Gen Contractor in Fl . I had the same role models in my life and by example, without lectures, my Dad taught me what was important in living a good life. Family, friends, loyal customers, Faith in God. I love & respect Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs, and hope he does a program highlighting you and your business. You have my highest respect man!!

Great video... What a great business... I can tell you as a four-wheeler, when I see a clean well maintained truck, the first thing I think is - there is a safe, professional driver... So I think there is a value in keeping your trucks clean, (and polished)... Keep on Trucking :)

great video i grew up around semis. my dad was a trucker we use to spend hours polishing his kenworth definitely hard work and time consuming but the end result just amazing.

A most excellent documentary! A wonderful place to start a "Great American Spirit" series of documentaries about those involved in the trucking industry, from day to day operations to shows, science and innovation. Of course at some point we will have to find someone to create a video about "BigRig Videos" and the message you are bringing to the world about trucking!

Well.... Finally something placed on youtube that was human. Something that addresses the little guys. Something that a very talented man with a "Polished flare" for video work can produce without being intrusive, rude or boring.I was an owner operator for many years and experienced the pride of ownership, dedication , and hard work. After a 19 year run in the business I sold it and went into law enforcement. Yes that's right Law Enforcement.I am now completing my 22nd year an Officer in this crazy state of New Jersey. One could say I jumped the fence of sorts. I can tell you ,to this day I respect those that maintain and admire there equipment and when any interaction between myself and those on the road occur they get the benefit of the doubt hands down!I want to thank the owner of Big Rig Videos personally for all he has done to bring a positive message about these men and woman on our highways. They the Trucker,are an essential part of this countries Heritage. During our nations wars, our nations storms, and even more.... through our nations 9/11, there has always been a trucker waiting in the wings with vital supplies.Over the last 20 years, we have observed first hand how the media distorts and at times demonize the truth when it comes to trucking safety, and the dedication of these independent operators. Truth is , many of these hard working men and woman fell victim to greedy companies and shady business practices. These actions often go unnoticed. Forcing folks to short cut vital safety procedures and maintenance and taking chances where most wouldn't normally. Believe me I know. And please , make sure the only thing well taken care of is not just the truck, but yourselves as well!Years ago every other show on TV was about A trucker. I spent many an evening watching these shows. Some say its in your blood. I believe they are correct. I believe their is a certain mystique about trucking. I remember as a kid my uncle would refer to it as being like a nomad or cowboy of sorts. In closing , I would like to thank these men and woman once again for continuing to operate these great pieces of "Roadside Eye Candy" and "Big Rig Videos" for there dedication to the industry.Jeff

Evans actually charges at a pretty fair rate too. However, he has a long waiting list around show times. We do our trucks ourselves usually but having a pro is no comparison.

Great film.....Look at all these trucks that show up at the shows how many thousands of hours that are put into the equipment with out them they have ugly trucks they need to start handing out Trophies for the polishers..Sure is a dirty business and one hell of an art form......Its crazy enough what these guys do to wheels and tanks now they going crazy on flat beds and Cattle Haulers so much work and time involved for these guys ....Really enjoyed that one Chris your Da Man....My letter is in the mail to The Academy......Looking forward to the next video.....Peace..

Mad respect for you Evan! I been considering of starting a metal polishing business but scared to think how my generation will judge me because I would get dirty polishing metal. At the same time I think it’s a great opportunity because not much people like to get dirty I don’t mind it and have always been good with doing things with my hands.
