they're all incredible musicians. henriks bass skills are absolutely out of this world. jonah can SING man. that's a rare voice with complete control over every note and slide. i haven't heard much of aron beyond the songs played so far, but obviously he's not going to settle for adequate. i'd like to hear him solo sometime. serious music life changers.

Yea, agreed, definately Jazz Fusion...this could help transform contempory jazz even more as it's shaping to different genres all the time. I'm so excited for the potential big future of jazz.

Danny did a tour with Dirty Loops as his touring band in 2011 (it was incredible!) but they never released anything that I know of. So I guess that’s the answer to all of you still waiting ☺️

@swerazon1 Jonah (keys/vox) was in the same season of Idol as Danny were so I guess they got to know eachother there.

Its extremely difficult to shove DL into a genre. They have a very unique sound, one of the most unique bands i've ever heard. Overall I would call them jazzfusion, but thats just me

@monsen86 But by pressing the body away from him and pulling his guitar neck towards him.. or the other way around (: It makes the distance between the bigger or smaller which makes them make that wacky sound. It's like a tremolo on a guitar.

Dirty loops definitely both jazz and funk in their style, both very prominent. I would say rhythmically they are funk and melodically they're more jazz/RnB
