That's a real fusion: Patitucci style bass + some pop as Mark King in slapping, a bit of soul in the voice, some crazy Dave Weckl drumming, Crazy jazzy chords! Really amazing. Can't stop listening. Scandinavian surprise me more and more lately. How hell I missed this last 5 years???
Andrew Royappa He can play the guitar, he's a decent singer, and he's involved in the songwriting (not just in name) of most of his songs. I can't blame him and his producers for releasing songs that make literally all of the money, instead of stuff that you and I might like.
Isaiah Mccain Well "uber" is the anglised version of the german preposition ''über",which is used in german to exaggerate something,to express that something is "above" the norm. Now given the fact that the original song by J.Bieber isn´t just bad but beyond bad,even by today´s low standards for mainstream pop,it´s pretty accurate to call it an "uber-crappy" song.Btw:I happen to be a native german speaker,so I find it cool that the term has been integrated into the english-american vocabulary and I like to use it frequently,when I communicate in english,specially because I can pronounce the umlaut "Ü" properly.Any other questions?

most underrated drummer in the history of music, only because he doesn't show off and his movements are not as theatrical as other drummers when they play stuff that's as hard and technical. He's incredibly musical too.
He does his job and does it very well .I love how he plays in and out of the pocket. He doesn't miss a lick. These guys just work flawlessly together . If I were Justin Beiber and I heard these guys do my song like they did it , I would go hide my head in the sand . They ripped it a new one!
I just love how happy they are playing together. Like every time they sit down and play, they're all impressed with each other. Connections like that are hard to find in a band.
Just incredible every time I listen I hear more nuances than before. It's just so full of great ideas all jam packed into 2.44 seconds. The arranging is first class and the musicality of the bass players solo really shines in this song it's probably my favourite bass solo ever I just love all the ideas, even the the bass melody he plays just as he ends the solo. The vocal breakdown section sounds incredibly beautiful with his voice just sounding great, I've never heard a piano player who can sing like that and play complicated parts at the same time . The piano parts are just genius and really add a smooth gospels jazzy flavour that just compliment the music endlessly. The drums are nothing short of incredible, he plays so many fresh and interesting fills that just fit in so well. The sounds are all clean and well recorded , what an excellent job ! Just exciting to see other musicians aren't giving in or catering too much for the mass, a true unique sound which shines with originality.
Just excellent, thank God for dirty Loops. i was beginning to think that all music that's popular was loosing its purpose. This amazing playing is made to look soooo easy. Its not believe me! 11 out of 10! :)

If anybody is interested, this type of music is called Jazz fusion and it is one of the most underrated genres of music. It's also amongst the hardest to understand.

Holy Chicken! That was incredible! I'm lost for words... seriously. They are soooo good! And what an arangement! I bet Beiber was like "Damn!" I've watched their videos over and over so many times, I can't get enough! I love their new album Loopified. They have restored my faith in young musicians!
Just listened through the album. Holy crap. Super pop and simple lyrically, but I don't mind. The musicianship is off the charts, and thats what pop music needs.
Oh Man how I wish. Then all Real musicians could enter the music world rather than the total Shit after Shit after Shit that's out there. Dirty Loops is 1 shining section.
Honestly? They wouldn't enjoy it. I'm not slagging off Beliebers, but people who really enjoy many of the artists in the pop charts all at once just will not enjoy this kind of music with complex musicianship. I'm not calling pop fans stupid or unperceptive but the thing is, if you're not already into more complex music (not necessarily complex but more complex than pop), then it's going to be hard for you to appreciate what simply sounds like a lot of notes and confusing chords. Many people just can't put together in their head the melody and what comes with, considering the simple melody is the same here. And in songs that have more complex melodies too, the song will go in ear and through the other with no really appreciation of the clever and competent playing here.
So true... I'd like to add that, in my experience, having a really good sound system (and I mean, a reeeeally good one) does help tremendously in learning how to appreciate music. In a better world, top hifi music systems should be heavily subsidezed. We humans, as a race, would benefit so much from it.
